it's that they probably benefit more than anybody else from trade ins, what with most of their profits coming from annual identikit roster updates disguised as new games.
ea would be in a much worse position than they are if there were no trade ins, people wouldn't buy so many new versions of thei sports games if they couldn't trade in the old ones.

considering it's a handheld device, it's pretty good, not ps3 level, but a definite improvement on what the psp could do.
it's true though, the real abusers of copyright are the publishers.
there are who knows how many stories of these publishers going after people for so called copyright infringements.

soldering? not a good idea for me, i'd probably melt something important and then i'd have two dead ps3s.
but the ps3 never had a rear usb port, that's one thing you can't accuse them of removing, taking away half the ports on the front was a pain in the arse though.
especially after my launch ps3 died. :(
not being able to play my ps2 games on my ps3 was a bigger blow for me.
the design of sonic isn't that big of an issue for me, they don't look much different to me, th classic one looks younger but that's about it, i wouldn't say either is better.
the real problem wasn't with sonic, it was the games, put classic sonic in the recent sonic games and they'd still be shit, put new sonic in the old games and they'd still be great games.
if sega think all they need to do to fix the sonic games is to go back ...
the words "more invasive methods" leads me to believe we're still some way off seeing this coming to market.

still that's one less game series i have to worry about having enough money for.
i'd love to see some F2P mmo type games on the xbox, but knowing ms they'll make it so you need gold to play them.
and contrary to what some people believe, unless you're a hardcore player or care about the best, or best looking, gear then it's entirely possible to play many of these F2P mmos without spending any money, at least it should be possible in a well designed game.
of course if ms are involved they'll probably charge you ms point...

they may have actually broken the law when they removed the other os option, but they're sony so it's ok right?
it annoys me when people make out like sony is just an innocent victim in all this.
