Yea, I don't understand the statement that square made concerning towns in hd games. FFXIII is extremely linear (i have the import) and I played about 15 hours of the game and never made it to any towns.
I really enjoy the game and I'm gonna buy the NA version but Square saying that towns are too hard to make is BS. Look at WKC, that game got horrible reviews (i think it's awesome though), it features towns though, big ones with tons of NPCs.

Actually, Sony and Nintendo's conferences were really good last year.
Nintendo showed us 2 new mario games and a new metroid game.
Sony showed us mod nation racers, a new mgs game, the last guardian, an exclusive game from rockstar north (agent), FFXIV & a motion controller that looks to be pretty accurate.

The 2008 conference was beyond horrible. I remember watching that while I was deployed in kuwait and just being beyond disappointed, I had been looking forward to it for months, lol.
I'm really looking forward to the sony and nintendo conference this year. I hope sony shows more of the last guardian and FFvsXIII. Also, I can't wait to see the new Zelda from nintendo. 2010 is gonna be epic for gamers.

Yes the DS sells way more but Nintendo has had the handheld market on lockdown since the original gameboy. Sony coming in with their first handheld and selling over 50 million is a great achievement.

this game looks cool, good level design from the looks of it and the sound is nice, i bet it gets pretty scary at times. I might have to pick this up.

I've wanted contact, lunar knights and henry hatsworth for some time now.
I always look at them whenever i'm in a game shop but I always end up getting some else.

I honestly think that sony doesn't really need to advertise heavily for FFXIII. Most people associate Final Fantasy with sony consoles. Plus if people are unaware of the game and they see the 360 commercial they'll more than likely check on the internet to see the details for the game.

Fable 2 is fun but I don't understand why people treat peter molyneux like he's some kind of god in game development.
All he does is over hype his own projects, he's even admitted to that. Even from a technical standpoint fable 2 was a mess. So many load screens and in game glitches. Still a fun game but it seemed a bit rushed.
