It's a good thing that the wii won't have as many garbage titles taking up shelf space but it's a shame because some 3rd parties thought they could do rush jobs and pull a fast one on wii owners. Most of these companies found out the hard way and rightfully so imo.

My little brother and I were having a discussion about a year ago and I remember asking him why he hadn't bought any hd-dvd movies for his 360. He said that they no longer sold the attachment in stores.

After he told me that the 360 used dvd9 I seriously thought he was joking. I had no idea that the 360 didn't use hd-dvd and the whole idea of it all struck me as crazy.

Don't blame the consumer who bought an arcade unit. Blame MS for selling a gimped version of a console that will cost you more in the long run. How much is a HDD for the 360 nowadays? 100? 150?
The arcade unit is a joke and shouldn't exist. Every console should have a HDD, plain and simple.

it definitely makes a difference in visuals when you're running games in 480i/480p vs. 720p/1080i/1080p
Heck, there's even a big difference when you run ps2/gamecube games in progressive scan.

eternal darkness is so awesome, it's not real scary but the game really does mess with you. There were so many times where the game literally had me disoriented as to what was happening during gameplay and what wasn't actually happening.
I don't know if that makes sense but I don't wanna go into great detail in case you ever get to play it.
I too feel your frustration, White Knight Chronicles is getting dumped on like it's the worst game ever but it's actually a really fun/polished game.

I'd love to have a 360, I wanna play gears 1&2, Kameo & Mass Effect. Why would I spend money on something that is guaranteed to break? If there were more articles and more outrage about the hardware problems they might actually get fixed. Instead we get talk of a jasper chip, yet somehow everyone I know, literally everyone, who has a 360 has had it break on them, multiple times in some cases.

It will be interesting to see how the big sites handle the 360 version 'IF' its visuals aren't as good as the ps3.
I bring this up because how many times have we seen articles from sites concerning visuals on the ps3 being sub par to that of the 360.
I don't hate the 360 but it gets a free pass from the major sites.
