The psp go sucks.
I made the mistake of buying one.
It's expensive as hell and sony does not support it. The weekly updates are absolutely horrid.
Please, avoid this piece of trash. Get a DS or a 3000 instead.
the counduit sold about 350,000 copies and the total online time hit a million hours a few weeks back.
so that's an average of 3 hours online for the people who bought the game....
I agree with you on the battle system, it's really unique and fun.

Insomniac is extremely loyal to their fanbase, they show this time and time again in interviews and in their podcasts. They wouldn't become a microsoft owned studio. Besides, if they were to be bought it would have been by sony and that would have already happened years ago. Insomniac likes being able to run themselves and they also like developing on sony platforms.

Insomniac could release a new IP for the wii/360/pc anytime they want. I really doubt that sony wants this to happen. Insomniac is easily one of the best studios around and are a key player when in comes to sony consoles. Whats the game everyone wanted on launch day.....

Kid Icarus is an awesome game but it's not anywhere near the status of metroid, zelda or mario.
I think some people trick themselves into thinking that they are part of something that was huge back on the NES but in actuality kid icarus was never an extremely popular game. Most people had metroid & the legend of zelda. Not a lot of people talked about kid icarus on the playground back then.

I agree completely with your thoughts on that it's getting bashed for changing yet reviewers are always knocking jrpgs for always being the same. It doesn't make any sense.
It seems like third person shooters w/cover systems and FPS war games get a free pass.
Funny how COD gets nothing but 9's even though its the same rehashed garbage that gets released on a YEARLY basis. Final Fantasy gets a core release about every 4 years and...
I hate how jrpgs are in constant comparison to wrpgs.
It's two completely different genres.
Jrpgs shouldn't be scored lower because they don't play like mass effect and fallout 3.
Me personally, Fallout 3 and Mass effect are shooters with rpg elements. They're awesome games but if I want to play a rpg I pop in a final fantasy or dragon quest game.

i could see this happening. Insomniac recently opened up a new east coast studio, i think in north/south(?) carolina. Maybe they'll make multiplat games and the main insomniac studio will still focus on sony consoles. Either way, Insomniac will still have my support.

This game sucks. The story makes no sense and things happen for no reason whatsoever. The only good thing about the game is the battle system and the music that played during battles. I don't regret buying it but it's definitely not a game I would recommend to anyone.
Camera control has been an issue when it comes to motion based games. The lack of a second analog stick is what it comes down to.
