yea, giant bomb is an awesome site.
It's perfectly fine though to accept high marks for multiplayer when servers weren't on and apparently it's ok to release games that are clearly not ready for release, ie MW2 MULTIPLAYER. Gotta love hypocrites.
9 times out of 10 if a game sucks, it sucks and it's not going to take a complete playthrough to notice this. Who cares if people aren't doing full playthroughs of games, do you honestly think people were doing full playthroughs during the nes/snes/...
Try reading the article next time before you get up in arms.
It wasn't the ESRB that made square leave out a shower scene. It was the makers of the game, they left out a shower scene because it wouldn't fit into the story.
I'm so pumped for this game.
Deadly Premonition is awesome. It's like the Evil Dead 2 of videogames, there are lots of noticeable flaws but the good outweigh the bad and the flaws add to the charm of it. It's a shame to see that the majority of people turned their nose up at the game, it's a freaking budget title that costs $20. Are people really that jaded that they can't find time to play something that is different, original & cheap! I'll take Deadly Premonition any day over rehashed sequels th...
you took his quote out of context.
also, greg has a girlfriend, he's dating kristine steimer who also works at ign. They talk about it on the podcast from time to time.
This game is going to be awesome. I'm playing PE 1&2 in preparation. I really hope square releases it on the psn. I'd love to play this game on my tv with the pspgo & synced up to a ps3 controller.
I prefer the DS over the PSP but the PSP is still a solid handheld with some great games.
Man, I was looking forward to this game but the voice acting sounds so awful.
Yea i can't remember which setting I used. I've been meaning to play it some more but I've been playing catch up with about 6 games so Peace Walker got pushed to the back burner for the time being.
I bought this game and never played more than an hour or so of it. The controls seemed a bit 'meh' to me.
Nice, I just ordered PE 1&2 off amazon today. I really hope 3rd birthday is available for us psp go owners.

Resonance of Fate is the game you're looking for.
yea, most of the square psx era rpgs are available online for cheap & brand new.
Also, the ds version of chronotrigger is just a port of the psx version with an optional dungeon. It's cheaper for the psx and it also comes with FFIV.

psp go got a price drop and like 4 free games months after it was out.
What did early adopters get? A version of rock band unplugged that had 5 songs on it. That game already sucks so it's just adding insult to injury.
I hate it how early adopters usually get screwed over.
South Korea is going through a golden age in film right now. IMO they make the best films in the world at the moment.
dark city
memories of murder
escape from new york
zombi2
A great or interesting story is key for me to buy a game. I can't be bothered with multiplayer modes. A good story trumps a deathmatch session any day of the week.
Are you insane?
Besides posting one of the dumbest comments I've ever seen I think you're the last person who should be asking how old someone is and what planet they're from.
Let me name a few games from the Snatcher and FFVI era that had a great story and writing.
Zelda: A Link to the Past
Earthbound
ChronoTrigger
Mario RPG: Legend of the 7 stars
Shining Force
Phantasy Star

This game is awesome. They nailed it so well that I find calling it a "retro" game is a disservice. It's done so well that it honestly seems like this hidden gem that was overlooked 15+ years ago. Seeing the parody of the FBI drug warning that were on all the arcade games back in the day was so cool.
