I think most people forget that film and novels are just as cliche as games. For every, 'The Road' there is a 'twilight' and for every 'The Good The Bad and the Ugly' there is a 'Chairman of the Board'

Microsoft is a joke. I have an orignal xbox and a 360 but I rarely show them my support. The 360 is a complete mess from a hardware point (reliability) and they over price all their peripherals. Timed exclusives, timed dlc, charging for an online service and then cluttering it with ads. That is just bad business imo.
Look at the games for the 360 and microsoft as 2 seperate entities, yes the 360 has some awesome games but microsoft is not doing anyone any favors when it comes...

I was playing the first R&C earlier today. The only thing I found different was a lack of a lock on/strafe and the voices are a little different. Gameplay and story/humor is pretty similar to TOD and ACIT.

JRPG's are fine just the way they are. There's a reason why the japanese government asked square to stop releasing dragon quest games on weekdays. Just because JRPG's seem out dated to YOU doesn't mean they are outdated to the fans of the genre. You don't see articles criticizing every rehash FPS game that gets released on an annual basis. Why is the guy talking about the psp go dominating sales? It sold less than 1k. It was the psp that sold well.
The go is a good handheld but it's the support, or lack thereof from sony that makes it not worth owning. What's the point in owning a handheld if you're limited as to what games you can play for it? Sony completely dropped the ball with the go.
god of war 3 isn't that great of a game. From a technical standpoint it is, but from a story/gameplay standpoint, it's just more of the same.
