Craig is good but the rest of the group is awful. The podcast has been getting worse and worse. I used to defend it a bit but the last few episodes have been complete garbage.
If you want some good podcasts where they DO talk about gaming, look into:
GiantBomb.com Giant Bombcast (best gaming podcast on the internet imo)
Gamers With Jobs Podcast
Drunken Gamers Radio
1up's Retronauts
They cover all the spectrums and ...
While I don't think all those games need to be remade, Eternal Darkness being the exception. It's a good list of under appreciated gems for sure.
I never understood why Starfox Adventures gets so much hate. That game is awesome, it's a great Zelda clone and the flying missions were cool as well. I'd take Starfox Adventures ANYDAY over the complete crap fest that was Star Fox Assault.
dude, eternal darkness is freaking brilliant, a genre that was filled to the brim with resident evil clones it was so refreshing to see a completely different take on the genre. Eternal Darkness messed with you, without a doubt that game gets in your head while playing it. You'll be caught up in midst of exploring ancient ruins when all of a sudden....
"WHAT?!? Why did my arm just fall off?? What the hell is attacking me!!....WTF just happened?!...Woah, complete mind...
Some of us own both a psp and a ds.
It's called playing a variety of games and consoles. Maybe if you weren't so busy being a fanboy dumba$$ you would be able to see how such a thing works.
15.00 a month?
No thanks
I'm really starting to regret my ps+ and qore subscription.
I love this game
The PSX tech was way better than that of the n64. The n64 was limited as can be as to what it could do. Yea it could smooth edges better but the saturn/psx did almos everything in a better and cheaper fashion.
The one exception though is factor 5 (and nintendo itself of course), they created a lot of tools for the n64 that they outsourced to other studios, namely their audio tools.
"70+ million people bought it & obviously a large majority of that figure didn't mind."
That's a cheap argument.
It's not like anyone had a choice in the matter. I'm not saying the wii is garbage because it doesn't have HD, I'm saying that nintendo's excuses are moot because HD has been accepted by the masses and just because people are buying the wii doesn't mean people don't want HD.

I hope so. There's only a few things in life that take me back to being a kid again and playing new console Zelda's is one of them. I always look forward to their releases, but this time the game looks extremely underwhelming.
it sucks but I have to agree.
I know that I personally was not expecting the new Zelda to look how it currently is.
I didn't expect ultra realistic graphics, voice acting, dark gritty atmosphere, etc. But to see the game looking like a complete step back from any console zelda ever released was a huge disappointment.
It wasn't miyamoto's flub of a demo that disappointed me but it was the fact that the game just looks flatout stupi...
Classic Controller option for the majority of games, if not all games.
An optical output.
High Definition would be nice. 480i/p stretched out across a 42" television doesn't do most games justice.
A hard drive. A 256mb flash drive is a joke, I have SD cards laying around the apartment because I ran out of space about 2 years ago.
There are LOTS of things that the wii is lacking that should have been included in the s...
I agree.
Plus, comparing a videogame to a painting is pretty silly. Music, videogames, film, paintings. It's all art but different kinds.
Ebert is a smart man though, he's becoming irrelevent due to the internet. Instead of reading a newspaper to see his reviews, you can go to rottentomatoes or other sites to get reviews. He has to say outlandish things like, "videogames can never be art," in order to maintain his presence in the media.
Lair isn't a bad game, it was mainly a victim of circumstance. Too much hype and the media was crucifying the ps3 before it was even released. Yes the controls aren't very good but it's still an enjoyable game and is still one of the best looking titles out which says alot considering how old it is. It's a shame that factor 5 went out on such a sour note.
aladdin was awesome on the genesis and the snes, i didn't care much for the lion king game though.
yea, people are playing up kojima's involvement with the game.
Either way, the game looks awesome to me and I can't wait to play it.
soda,
you should know by now that god of war invented everything there is in gaming and there will never be a game that looks better, plays better, has a better story, has better characters, better voice acting, better pause screens, better textures, better box art, etc. than god of war 3.
This is fact and if you disagree then you are clearly a microsoft or wii fanboy.
It's people like you that are killing the game industry.
i'd like to see better puzzles, melee, and better platforming.
The puzzles in uncharted are clever but they're too easy and few and far inbetween. The melee combat looks awesome but it's too cinematic and doesn't feel like you're really controlling the fight. The platforming was waaaay better in Drakes Fortune and I'd like to see more of that in Uncharted 3. The thing I want changed the most though is the combat itself.
Take Cover, SHo...
or those of us who have no idea what is going on.
the cut scenes in MGS4 were really cool but the overarching story is confusing as hell.
yes, because god of war invented the hack and slash genre...
Gamers get more dumb as generations progress.
This game looks awesome.
The game looks cool but the story seems lacking. If all it focuses on is getting money to keep your shop open then I think I'll skip over it.
