Hey there, fellow voice of reason! Still fighting the good fight?
Hold on a second, I think I hear the sound of a dead horse getting beat.
Man, the way you talk, I'm sure you don't even need other devs to help you make a game. Someone throw money at this guy!
It's all relative. I got super hyped for this game the moment I saw it at E3. Did it live up to the hype when I played the alpha? I'd be the first person to stand up and say that it didn't if that were the case but I had an absolute blast with it for those few days I was able to play. People will have their opinions and of course there's bound to be people who won't like this game. Play it for yourself and then make the decision, rather than letting someone like me or some...
I agree with you wholeheartedly. But again, if you look at the interactions here specifically on N4G, you can't honestly look at both sides and not admit that the more trollish fanboys on the PS side have been on the offensive for a while now. I can only speak for myself when I say that even though I lean more towards the XB1, I don't feel the need to trash the PS4 or the people who support it. There's a civil way to discuss all this stuff without being jerks about it but it is wh...
Eventually I'll get the PS4 just to have my bases covered. I wouldn't let a fanbase completely deter me from buying anything or supporting anything. I look at it the same way as with a sports team that has fans that don't know how to act when their team of choice does well. It looks bad on the team itself.
If articles are being written about how die hard Sony fanboys are the worst (i.e. Jim Sterling's piece), then you know something's up. That's not to say every Sony supporter is a jerk but it's just annoying to come on here and see people jump on every single XB1 article to spew venom. I pay close attention to the behavior on both sides and while the MS supporters definitely have their share of idiots, you get way more crap coming from the PS side.
This is the first time I've ever not wanted to get a console because of its fanbase (i.e. the PS4 diehards). The hell is wrong with you people?
The negativity in this thread is ridiculous.
I've had State of Decay in my system since it came out and now that I've finally started playing it, I can't stress how awesome this game actually is. I recently lost my main go to character in a horrible way and it had the same effect on me as any loss I've ever felt in any book, movie or TV show where a character I was invested in kicked the bucket.
Any game with a substantial character creator always seems to get them involved. I've noticed that with my wife.
So successful that I can't even bring myself to play it currently. I feel like BF4 is the equivalent of a friend who has just let me down one too many times and forced me to break out the friend scissors.
I have BF4 on the XB1 and I can't bring myself to play it, what with all the issues it has had. The last straw for me was when I had fought tooth and nail to pass this one particularly difficult level in the game, which I managed to do after quite a few attempts. I managed to get further along in the game and didn't play it for a few days. After the most recent update, I put the game on and came to find that my progress had for some reason been pushed back to a few checkpoints before ...
If that's indeed true, that's nuts. And only 10% are using the two combined?
Sounds gravy to me.
This is a stupendous job but I like the other one with the orange, black and white color scheme better. I wouldn't complain about either one though.
I have no problem waiting a couple of days for MS to release an update that they feel comfortable with releasing, rather than them releasing something incomplete that could possibly brick my system. If you can't handle the wait, you should probably seek some kind of professional help.
I'll say this much, it's a little ridiculous to me that months ago, people were going crazy over The Order: 1886 without knowing a single damn thing about it. Infamous has its fans and we all knew what to expect more or less so I can understand the hype for it in regards to its built in fanbase. Titanfall blew the doors off of E3 with its gameplay reveal trailer and again, I can understand the hype there because they came out, showed what they were offering and the gaming community sa...
$15 seems a little steep. I'd love to check the game out but I just can't swing that rate. If they make it easy to cancel the sub and pay when you want to play, then maybe I'll reconsider.
There are plenty of N4G users eating crow right now. I remember seeing a lot of comments that were absolutely positive that the alpha graphics were indicative of the final product. Morons.
