I'm fine with that. Saves me having to spend upwards of $400 for another decade or so.
I simply wonder what kind of gamer you consider yourself to be if you want this game to fail.

The game is fun even when they're wiping the floor with you. I like those moments when I try to save some dignity by making it on the drop ship before it flies away and then I don't make it or get taken out like five feet away from the canopy, eyes bulging and my arms reaching out to my comrades.
Gotta say, it sucks to be on a team where people aren't focused on winning. It's really frustrating for example when I'm holding down a point in Domination while I see the other two points held by the opposition remain untouched while idiots are playing like it's a game of Attrition.
Thanks for that! I'm just tired of it and frankly, I honestly don't see how throwing out sales figures and other numbers in response to the success of a particular title is even an argument. Taste in games varies from person to person but that doesn't mean we can't keep the argument focused.
Denying yourself the enjoyment, not to mention the sheer convenience you get from owning multiple consoles is something that doesn't make any sense to me. The PS3 for example was a console that didn't necessarily appeal to me but after I purchased it, I realized how much less stressful it was to have my bases covered by not having to miss out on anything I really wanted to play. To be fair, if you were in charge, wouldn't you push Titanfall on the better system than the last gen one? Titanfall is getting ads on the XB360 also, it's right there on the dashboard but I mean, I'd focus more on the higher end stuff personally.
Let's play a game. Let's play where instead of spitting out sales numbers and tech stats and other assorted nonsense, we talk about the specific games on each system. All I hear on N4G day after day is how the PS4 is destroying the XB1 in terms of sales but barely anyone is talking about the games available for it. Did people buy a PS4 to play games on it or to flaunt sales numbers? Why don't we talk about titles instead for a while and see how that conversation goes?

Can't comment on the PS4 interface seeing as I haven't tried it for myself but I like the XB1 interface. It had a bit of a learning curve at the start but after getting familiar with it, I was able to get to what I needed fairly quickly. The latest round of updates have definitely helped as well, making it all a little more intuitive. I still feel like some things they took a step backward with. It feels like several things, like checking your friends list and your achievement progres...
How is five months nearly a year? And why is it that you can't give the guy credit for admitting that they screwed up in terms of communication? If anything, I think it's more sad that you can't give the guy a benefit of a doubt when he's out there in public making (or at least trying to) amends. The burn card of all burn cards is the one that makes your mech blow up in a bigger nuclear explosion than usual.

This game has potential to be really scary and to bring the series name back in the good graces of gamers everywhere after the s##tshow that was Colonial Marines.
At the end of the day, it comes down to the games and right now, the XB1 has the better selection. If someone could point out a title on the PS4 that is as much fun as Titanfall and can back up their claims, then I will go out and buy one soon as my tax refund comes in.
Obviously that's just my opinion but as someone looking to buy a PS4, I'm not seeing anything on it that says "buy me now". And anyone saying that MS secures its titles using the almighty do...
