@ Edward
That's a fair point, and I see where you are coming from.
Personally, I flip on my consoles solely to play games - nothing more, nothing less. But I respect the opinion of those who want to multitask.

This.
My only expectation for firmware: don't get in the way of my gaming
Can I ask what the problem is with your Kinect?
The Kinect itself isn't prone to failure, to my knowledge, so I'm genuinely curious.
Sorry mate. Bad joke.
I was referring to the similarity between Quiet and the ridiculous ad that rotates through the "You Might Also Like" section on this page.
Just had a thought.
Maybe Quiet is taking the "Skinny Pill" that angry doctors are calling to ban.
(or perhaps there's just a lot of cleavage on this page - not that that is a bad thing, of course)
Now THAT looks bloody awesome!
I was a little worried after this game had gone silent for a while.
Spot on regarding the 580 and VRAM.
I have a pair of 580 classifieds (3 gb apiece) and so far the extra VRAM overhead has allowed me to delay a GPU upgrade.
Will probably still upgrade in 2015...
This might be the game that forces me to upgrade my aging GPUs...
The term "butt hurt" is overused.
But in this case, the literal interpretation will apply.
Give them time...
If you're going to depend on a screaming fast DeLorean, you need a flux capacitor.

He named his daughter Zelda (you can guess why), so I seriously doubt he or his family would have any objections to this.
That said, I agree it should be subtle (i.e. easter egg). Fans would pick up on the inclusion.
I love Dead Space (1 & 2).
Not at all interested in another Call of Deadspace: Future Clusterf@!# (DS3).

Sums up my feelings. I wasn't inclined to buy an Xbone anytime soon, but I may have considered when the price came way down and games I was interested were released.
But now I'm pissed. MS cheated the majority of the fanbase out of this title - all for the ILLUSION of having an exclusive. I've got hate for that kind of crap. Not good for the industry we all love.
I also have an ax to grind with SE/CD. I hope that was one fa...
@ Mithan
Actually, this could hurt the overall brand and reduce sales of Temple of Osiris to PS and PC gamers (I won't be buying ToO because of this - and their patronizing press release).
CD & SE seems like they failed to consider the collateral damage.
@ icicle
Starchild tends to pretty platform agnostic and usually seems geared towards pc if anything (not an elitist for that matter either). So bad assumption there.
He's also spot on. This doesn't really benefit anyone but will create some animosity.
Agreed. Not worth the click (don't do it).
Site bubbled down.
You may be right. At least, it seems like it has the potential.
Strikes me as the kind of game from Insomniac that I've grown to love over the years. (doesn't take itself too seriously, over the top, etc)
I'll wait to see what the reviews and users say about it this fall.
Agreed regarding the killer game aspect.
The original Gears of War is what sold me on the 360 - unbelievable combo of gameplay and graphics (the first real "next gen" game at the time).
Some solid games on display today, but probably not enough to convince me to make the leap. Yet...
Cheers
Evolution: Yeah we're making a game called DriveClub for PS4.
Scottish Farmer: Interesting. I'm developing a game myself. Thinkin' of calling it Goat Simulator.
Personally:
1) Lower price
2) Something jaw dropping on the level of Gears
Just my 3 cents (inflation)
