I'd nominate every rescuable character from the original Dead Rising. It's clear they all want to die, and hey, who am I to get in the way of that?
@ Dir
Fair comment.
My issue with the L2/R2 touchpads is in regards to a lack of responsiveness/precision as opposed to control of my own digits. It's the same reason I don't care for games on my phone. I simply prefer tactile feedback.
The touchpads are workable, but in my opinion, actual L2/R2 buttons would be preferable.
Just my 3 cents. Cheers!
Agreed. The Vita is a really good device when a some tweaks could have made it undeniably great.
My list of issues is short but bothersome:
- Memory cards/pricing
- Lack of L2/R2 buttons
- Lagging AAA software support
Off topic a bit here, but it's interesting how Sony and Nintendo are somewhat the yin and yang when it comes to consoles and handhelds. One's strength is the other's weakness (I still prefer the Vita over ...
@ Light
You have a strange point of view on how debates work. Why wouldn't you have any burden of proof yourself, especially given that your stance on this is clearly against the grain? Back it up on your end, wise guy.
To that point, you haven't offered up any such evidence to support your assertions.
Tell you what, you go ahead and hunt down 99 instances where Pachter has been right about gaming related projections (if you can). ...
"...he's on point 99% of the time."
If that's true then he must spend 99% of his time on non-gaming related business.
Well, there you have it folks.
Based on this guy's track record, expect the console install base to grow to record levels.
This clown gives broken clocks a bad rep.
Sweet. Loved the first episode. They seem to have a solid formula that stays true to the original games (grew up with those) while also weaving in a Telltale games type of approach - humor included.
Using the pad, yeah, painstaking.
Have you tried messaging with the xb1 smartglass app? I've gotten fairly comfortable using it.
Still, I do like the 360 chatpad. May end up getting this...
@ Zeek and Loaded
Agreed fellas. Wouldn't have made a major difference.
But anything would have been welcome in the desertlike conditions of Nintendo's E3 for Wii U owners. All that was missing was the tumbleweeds.
Bummer. The Fatal Frame series usually satisfies.
The Wii U could use some positive buzz, and imho this would helped.
Well said. And hey, why settle?
If you need a beverage quality control specialist, I'll happily apply both my interest and experience.
No need to thank me!
Definitely looking forward to more on QB and SB.
Is Crackdown going to be there as well?
@ Yi
Agreed. They essentially stopped supporting the Wii U already. Their only focus seems to be handhelds.
Their claim of Wii U support is hollow. Strikes me as a desparate plea to string gamers along.
I own a Wii U but Ninty has royally screwed up with their approach.
For sure. Would love to see this series run its full course.
True that. And heaps of soul.
Completely agree.
I own a Vita already, but I'd gladly spring for an updated version if they added L2 & R2 buttons. That would make remote play even better (I use that feature a lot but it still has room for improvement).
Cheers
@ James
I think a lot of people share that sentiment (glad they bought The Order).
The rating for the digital version on PSN is currently carrying 5-stars (with a couple thousand plus reviews).

You're not alone. Not even close. I'm only a few chapters into The Order, but am loving it so far.
And check out the user rating on the PSN for those who own the digital version.

What's interesting is the ratings from those who purchased the digital version of the game.
At the present, it shows up as a 5-star game (based on 2,475 ratings)
