Personally, I just love a good racing game, platform agnostic. If it has wheels, I'll probably play it and love it on PC, PS3, or 360.
I really enjoy both the Forza and GT series, including the latest iteration of each. They both look and play great - and I'm not really into comparing which has better ____(fill in the blank, fanboy's choice) than the other. Both PD and Turn 10 have done solid, IMHO. If you love racing, it's hard to hate on either of these ...
Agree w/ GiggMan
Also, I believe that's the Steam deal of the day for 9.99 (if you're looking to get it on the cheap).

Awesome game - you won't regret it.
Worth the investment.
My niece (just turned 3) loves it and asks to play it every chance that she gets. While she's playing she has a nonstop smile plastered on her face while she laughs and giggles - that itself is priceless.
Awesome job by Double Fine - I think this is exactly what Tim Schafer set out to make (and succeeded!)
Two ways to use the Retro Lancer:
1) Spray & pray (incredibly ineffective)
2) Fire in controlled bursts (devastatingly lethal)
Not a weapon for those that have no clue about recoil or an overly itchy trigger finger - they'll never hit anything (and probably bitch about it).
Personally, I find it a great weapon to prevent Gnasher and Sawed Off opponents from getting close enough to one shot me.
Don't mind if I do.
Not to mention other benefits such as building problem solving skills, improving hand-eye coordination, etc.
The key is moderation.
Gaming in and of itself isn't bad for anyone. It's when gaming starts to intrude on other areas of life that it can become a problem.
It seems that MS intentionally neglects PC gaming in favor of funneling the audience to their Xbox business. It's a bit of a fox-hen house situation.
All the more reason that I cast my lot with Valve and Steam - they actually give a rip about PC gaming and PC gamers.
If it was up to MS, PC gaming would probably totally disappear.
Yeah, I'd like to believe that. Not convinced though.
For this gen at least they've aligned themselves with the 360 as their primary platform. They've made a lot of money doing that, so it's hard to see this changing.
Sidebar: Not sure about this, but did Epic recently hint at another Xbox exclusive?
Can I get a F-bomb from the congregation?!
Seriously, Ubisoft can take their DRM and go directly to hell with it.
DRM =
Damn
Right
Motherf@ckers (I'm not buying your game)
Thoroughly enjoyed Gears 2 - aside from the online nonsense at launch. Looks like Epic is doing their best to avoid a repeat of that.
You and me both.
Played the first Gears to death on PC (and 360). Played the second to death on the 360.
I'd gladly spring for this!
Sad state of affairs that they haven't learned this is self-defeating and anti-legit consumer. Stupidity at its best.
Or perhaps we should say stUBIdity...
Loved this game on the Dreamcast, but I doubt that I'll pick it up this time around.
I am curious to see if they stamp it with some ludicrous DRM (ala Final Fight) - wouldn't be surprised in the least.
It's for consistency sake. Gotta' treat everyone the same.
They've been treating gamers like crap for the past several years, and it's poor form to hold a double standard. /s
But seriously, "crap" is their operative descriptor. I thought the Final Fight DRM was awful, but the new save feature for RE on the 3DS sounds even worse.
The peak of Bill Paxson's career, imho. Easily the most memorable line he's ever had.
And yeah, that would be a nice touch (but could wear out it's welcome on harder difficulties if you hear it too many times).

Well played. Shall we refer to you as Newtprime?
If there's going to be a comparison to Crackdown, it should be a requirement that inFamous be described as "Crackdown done right".
I enjoyed Crackdown (the original more so than the sequel), but inFamous 1 & 2 are simply on another level if we're going to put them side by side.
No, it won't. They've already lost this customer.
I have 2 games through Origin so far, and that is all they'll get from me. One of them has a persistent failure at launch - and there is no hardware or software conflict apparent.
Defecting from Steam will be a horrible idea. I could see them offering Origin on top of Steam as multiple avenues to market their product - but this is just dumb.
@ kramun
Agreed - "butt hurt" is probably the most overused term on N4G.
Judging by the frequency it's used, it would seem there's a lot of folks who've done prison time with poor soap handling skills.
Completely understandable. Steam is really where it's at, and they're the undisputed heavyweight champ in the PC ring.
I'm willing to give Origin a chance to grow and prove that they belong. But I doubt I'll be using it either in the near future.
Where Origin will pale is in comparison to Steam, feature for feature. Best case, they're able to provide matching features and pricing, which I doubt they can (and indie support is a whole &...
