Why the hell would the 360 be experiencing shortages at this time of year?? Im sorry but they should just accept that the PS3 is gaining momentum, mostly due to its outstanding game line-up for this year.

This would explain why Microsoft are so keen to market GTA4, since it is their best hope for 2008. Their problem is that GTA4 is coming out in a year that alot of people will be getting a PS3, due to the quality of games in the pipeline.

Childishness aside, its great to finally see developers prioritise Europeans over other regions. I think that many gaming publishers underestimate how important Europe is to the gaming industry as a whole. We are the only market that doesnt show favouritism to a particular console or platform.
No sooner do I post on the rumour article that it is complete bull$h!t then the rumour is completely debunked. Never believe what Microsoft say without confirmation by another source.
Microsoft wouldnt been raving about it if it were true. Its just another Microsoft twist to make people buy GTA for the 360. Theyre really making a push for it since their exclusive line-up is weak.
1.) The 360 install base is marginally bigger than the PS3 install base in the UK.
2.) Both the standard and limited edition PS3 versions were more expensive than the 360 versions.
3.) The TV ad only advertises the 360 version.
I expect worldwide sales to favour the PS3 version though.
It seems like the single-player campaign will be totally different (telepathic abilities!). I just cant wait for the 8-player co-op mode though. I mean having 7 other people playing through a campaign mode is just gunna be awesome!!!

Bioshock, Halo 3 and Mass Effect didnt stop the PS3 from selling more than the 360 in 2008, so saying that a multiplatform game is gunna beat it with the PS3s line-up taken into account is just absurd.
This weeks update was pretty rape tbf, Turok & Conflict demos, DLC for Folklore & Motorstorm and that Skydiving game. Ok they have come out late than the US, but hasnt it always been that way?? Games come out in Europe later than they do in the US; weve always complained about it but its nothing new. Sure, I hope that they find a solution pretty soon, but I think people need to stop b1tching each and every week. No matter what content is offered, some people are never happy.
So the movie is gunna use the exact same graphics engine as the game?? Thats just insane!!
Sluggish sales is an outdated conception for the PS3; we know now that it sold 1 million more than the 360 last year.
Its still a big ask for ANY game to sell 1 million copies in its first day of sales, but Im sure that MGS4 MIGHT well do it if it not one, then a couple of days.
They need to wait for confirmation of Halo 4 first, so that they can include the BETA in Crackdown 2, cause thats the only reason why the first one sold.

btw someone remove Silent Hill from the metascore page. It bring the metascore down significantly.
