I only own a 360 and I think Killzone 2 is class. That's blown a massive whole in your logic, because not everyone out there is a fanboy.
The story of the Deus Ex games is the hook in my eyes - they deal with conspiracy theories such as Area 51 and the Illumiati - very interesting.
Suprising that the thought of no multiplayer provokes such a reaction from people, yet games like Half life and Bioshock don't have multiplayer - and are both excellent games by all accounts.
Also, as some have already mentioned, the game is a third person shooter.
Some of the features in Red Dead lended themselves to its unique setting, like the open world and the side quests. Besides, I seem to remember GTA4 getting universal acclaim when it was released, yet many people seem to hate it now. I'm glad that Read Dead has garnered similar acclaim, for me its a much better game.
You obviously mistake opinion for fact. Also, this was a top 10 list, yet you list like 15 games. That's why they don't fit you moron.
People should probably watch the show before jumping on the bandwagon. He discusses it from the viewpoint of combating pirating, which is gotten completely out of hand in the PC gaming market. Additionally, the people that have a problem with this is such a small percentage that publishers probably don't even notice - look how well Assassins Creed 2 sold. Don't stand here and think you're making a big difference to game sales, because you're not.
I haven't experienced any glitches at all yet. I installed the game on my Xbox though, which might have helped.
Currently playing Red Dead, and still need to play Alan Wake and Bad Company 2.
This merely emphasises the perceived elitism of PC gamers. "We should get stuff for for free while console gamers should pay for it for no good reason". Get over yourselves.
Seriously, some people need to switch on.
Dont know what people see in Medal of Honour and why they think its got anything over Modern Warfare 2 or Bad Company 2. This is set in the Cold War, which is something not many games have explored. Plus the inevitable zombie mode is a huge draw.
then you would know that he was being ironic, considering that the fanboys always believe he is slagging off the PS3. Probably not the best thing to say, because naturally all the fanboys take it literally.
Zombie mode in Black Ops is more likely than the sun rising in the morning. It was the hook of World at War; hopefully it will be more refined this time round as opposed to a tacked on feature.
I find it hard to believe that there are many people out there hardcore enough to want all the achievements/trophies for a game but cannot afford or do not want online gaming services. Why people should even care that much about achievements this much is an issue in itself.
Look awful in my opinion. Might have been interested in it a few years ago, but it just looks really immature to me now.
Funny how Gametrailers said the exact opposite in their review - the characters were rubbish but the action was great
what a coup for activision. however, bungie havent really proven themselves in anything other than making Halo games, and seeing as Microsoft owns the Halo franchise, it will be interesting to see what new stuff they come up with.
Sega should definitely invest in bringing the Dreamcast back catalogue to Xbox Live. Theyve already proven that they can do it with Soul Calibur.
If they have a deal with Microsoft then we probably won't see it on the PS3 for another year or so. It might never appear on the PS3, you never know.
Look at when these games have been released. Mass Effect 2 was January (right after Christmas) and therefore cannot hope to attain substantial sales at release, but is a game that definitely has legs. Splinter Cell in April, right after the likes of Bioshock 2, Final Fantasy XIII etc. which whether they were good or not, are eye-catching games to the consumer. Alan Wake in May, but they probably weren't banking on Red Dead Redemption being the runaway success it has become. I can't se...
