The article sound biased imo. One they accuse Capcom of LYING, and then they add that the PS3 PAL version is more expensive than the 360 PAL version. Its pretty obvious which version they want people to get.
20 mins is nothing if it means faster loading times when going into new areas, as well as a flawless framerate.
I think Sony have done well to sell that many PS3s, considering its lukewarm reception, as well as the launch delay for Europe. They sold close to 1 million consoles in 2006, so they are probably around the 9.6/9.7 million mark in overall sales.
Thats more than the 360 sold in its first year of sales, but that would mean that around 9 million 360s were sold this year. I dont think Gamespot did their math correctly.
A couple of days someone posted what they claimed to be new Haze footage when it was old, and now this, which is also old.
I just gets annoying when people say the game looks bad even after all the delays, when in reality its 4-5 month old footage.
People read into the smallest things way too much sometimes. I mean come on, be serious, how on earth would they be able to port MGS4 to the Wii?? They are obviously referring to Twin Snakes, but using that as a reference to the MGS series as a whole.
It would be cool if Left 4 Dead went to PS3, but isnt it being created by Valve? In which case they would hand it over to EA, and u would have a crappy port all over again...
but I doesnt hold a candle to FF. Plus, 4 discs? Only 40 hours gameplay??
I saw this footage pre-christmas; its not new. Its just extended footage from an existing gameplay video, so dont think that this is up to date.
I agree that 360 sales might suffer now that Halo 3 is in the past, but attributing this to a 2.3% drop in sales is nothing really.
We all know where their alligance lies, so until they start supporting Blu-ray exclusively they can make their HD-DVD releases as crappy as they like.
Shame for PS3 owners that were waiting for this game, but having played the demo on XBL, I dont care for the game at all. Apprently theres no co-op play either.
for making the best game yet for the PS3. Roll on Uncharted 2!
When was there rumours of it appearing on the 360? Its been confirmed at PS3 exclusive for a while now.
I feel that the Disgaea series is a highly-underrated series; I hope it sells well. I just think that it might get panned by reviewers over here because of the lack of 3D graphics, cause thats all most reviewers care about anymore.
If Haze came out when it was originally scheduled to be released (Fall 07) then it would have got negative reviews, due to the fact that it wouldve been unfinished. So theyve delayed it to improve on the game, but people are saying that the game will suck now.
I dont quite understand this logic; I was under the impression that delays were a benefit to the final product, not a hamper.
I dont recall anyone stating that Ninja Gaiden 2 was 360 exclusive, but was probably just assumed since Microsoft were publishing it. Ninja Gaiden Sigma sold farily well on the PS3, so it would make business sense. True or not, it will be exclusive to the 360 for at least a year I would expect.
Spinter Cell has gone through so many image changes since its inception, I hardly recognise it anymore. Though they are good games, the gameplay isnt that special compared to the innovative style of Metal Gear.
Shame that the release dates werent more detailed. I was looking forward to a concrete release date for Haze.
Probably best it gets cancelled for the PS3 as opposed to getting a sh1tty port of an already generic fps.
I just cant believe that people see the install as a problem rather than a benefit. If it makes the game load faster, then its something to rejoyce. I mean, its not like this is the first time this will have happened to anyone (unless youve never install a PC game it youre life), and doesnt the article states that the install process portrays the story from the previous DMC games?? That for me is just fantastic.
