They're merely expanding their audience. You really think that they're going to stop making games for the millions of people that WONT buy Kinect?
I would rather take the word of a game's creator as opposed to that of a magazine though, wouldn't you?
I played GTA4 on both consoles and there's virtually no difference graphically.
I don't know why people are dismissing Kinect (apart from PS3 fanboys). I think that innovations like these are good for the industry, because developers can create brand new experiences. I don't see how much further gaming can go in its current state, so if it weren't for devices such as Kinect then the industry would just saturate. You can't complain that there are too many first-person shooters on the market and then turn round and say that Kinect is bad for gaming, it'...
I live in the UK, and I simply wanted to upgrade from the old Xbox to the new one, so I have done.
Is that what it has come to? Begging people not to buy Kinect? Seriously, get a grip.
No fucking shit sherlock.
Maybe next year.
"Oh my god, they killed Carmine!"
"You bastards!"
Not sure why they compared it to Kinect, I mean buttons? secondary controller? Surely the fact that Kinect doesn't use batteries is an advantage?
Hope Microsoft don't come out with an equally silly comparison.
The large majority of those votes will have been from N4G, which to be fair, has a very PS3-oriented user base.
I don't know how n4gno got so many agrees, but your argument is just plain biased. What each console offers and how it appeals to individual consumers is purely subjective; you can't make a definitive judgement one way or the other. Some people love Halo, some people don't - it's their choice. Also, Microsoft put out the 360 a year before its competition for a reason, and all that bollocks about the media being biased, I think you're the one that has been brainwashed. Swit...
I don't agree with Home. I think it was a waste of money, especially considering that they most likely cancelled that Eight Days game in order to fund it.
Well said.
ChartTrack is the equivalent of NPD in the UK; its all official data. Do some research next time before jumping on the bandwagon and crying fowl.
Notice how all the games listed are high-profile ones? Bugs in these games are only exposed because people actively go looking for them. I've played all 5 of those games and only experienced bugs in Red Dead.
Not surprising, there has been so much advertising for it here in the UK, enough to make me actually want one.
...and my point is proven.
It's more likely that the poster has done that deliberately to provoke fanboys into bashing Kinect... for a change.
AvP sold more than FFXIII, haha.
