The characters are pretty great and entertaining in Gears which is really hard to do in a video game (apparently), they shouldn't abandon them for all new ones.
The author is presumptuous, delusional and has a very inflated opinion of his business savvy if he thinks he knows what exactly is needed to win the next console war.
Levine's Bioshock Infinite looks AMAZING, definitely my most anticipated game.....and the graphics look good too.
It would be nice to see it on Vita.
These investors may know about the stock market but they clearly don't know much about games. COJ games are always mediocre.
Summer is when I have the most time to game but unfortunately the least amount of games are released.
I tend to buy the games that I didn't buy in the previous fall but that I was interested during the summer for 20 bucks...if they released during the summer months I would have paid full price but publishers are stupid.
I own and passe Portal 2 and would give the game a 7/10, it was playable and entertaining but I certainly enjoyed other 2011 game more this year.
I wish I rented it instead of bought it.
It is probably the most interesting and different game I've seen on consoles in years. Truly amazing looking.
Not sure how they got the voice acting to match player/enemy actions so well (judging by E3 demo), maybe it implements the same type of programming used for sports game announcers?
Funny thing is Crysis 2 on 360 half way through looks terrible due to graphical bugs (lines floating across the screen and huge rectangular grain)

This story is very old and games were way WAY more difficult back in the days of cartoonish characters.
No saves mostly, non-regenerating health, nazi AI, and the true death that made you start the entire game all over again.
