I see where Bioware has lost its way: it's trying to make a game that will sell blockbuster numbers by appealing to what they think sells instead of making a game the best it can be for its own sake and is most suitable to the ME series.
They should beware of the Square effect - don't lose sight of the fact that they're making an RPG first NOT second.
They're placing suits above creative.
So stupid to release this game in the busy Fall season - Activision should remember it's MW3, BF3, Resistance 3, Gears 3, Uncharted 3, Halo Remake, Skyrim, Batman AC, Lost Guardian, etc season already!!!!
If it released today with Move controls I'd consider buying it, as there's not a lot out right now. As it stands, there's no way I'm going to see GoldenEye on the shelf among all the AAA games and choose proven Wii mediocrity over all that AAA greatness....
Mechs are just always cool additions to everything.
I don't mind installs at all, whatever makes the game load fastest. If it's possible to load faster with an install, give us the option.
The people complaining about installs are just kvetch's.
I hope it's not Crytek's engine, it runs like shit and must be hard to program for seeing how Crytek couldn't get its flagship tittle, Crysis 2 to run properly on consoles - PS3 was sub HD and 360 has that disgusting grain bug and lines across the screen.
Gears 2 and Uncharted 2 have better graphics engines. Even rockstar engines are more impressive.
If COD wasn't 60 FPS it would be shit....or at least a lot less worse. BFBC2 had better MP - teamwork and strategy, not lone ranger and twitch spray. That's probably why PC prefers BF over COD and COD sell 20+ mill on consoles. Just wait until next gen when thy're all 60 FPS, then it will be obvious how basic and twitch CODs gameplay is. EA is waiting for it.
LOL PC gamer misappropriating Sony PS3 slogans.
PC gaming is great if you can afford the pricy rig (yes, over $300 to game is pricy), but don't for a second think it's superior to console gaming over all, it's just different. Console has way more amazing games that never see the light on PC (hows RDR, LA Noire, Gears 2, Reach, Uncharted, LBP, ect.???? U have know idea unless you own a console). Unless you play Warcraft and Starcraft all day, the devs are behind ...
Another video game "journalist" that may have passed high school English but possesses no analytical reasoning skill. They keep trying to say 2 plus 2 equals ?, no it equals 4. In other words, it doesn't equal whatever they think will get more hits.
Being a troll/fanboy clogs your brain and deprives it of all reason.

SWWWwwweeeeeeT.
Probably launch day buy for me. Nintendo tends to have reliable hardware.
...still think the iPad controller is weird though, oh well. I'm happy with HD Ninty.
It only comes with 8 gigs though, I really hope the memory is upgradable.
All I hear about Kinect is potential, why don't people buy it when it actually delivers on it, no point in buying it now. Who knows, you'll probably get it cheaper too.
I wish the console versions looked as good as the alpha.
It is 2006 again, everyone already knows this.
I don't think fighters and sports games count.
I would agree if the title read "A good story isn't always a necessity"
A good story can make a 7-8 game a 9plus.
For example Vanquish, the game has great gameplay (maybe the best for a 3PS) but the cheesy story puts the overall game well behind Gears and Uncharted's SP campaign.
Most of the people I know only buy 2-3 games a year (shooters and sports) and play the shit out of the multiplayer. Last gen, they'd buy around 4-6 games a year.
They think I'm weird because while I enjoy small doses of MP, I much prefer quality SP experiences.
I really hope future controller all don't look like tablets.
If devs need a screen to enhance games make an app for the phone specific for each game or something.
Crytek can die slow for all I care. 3.5 months and an 110 page forum thread later and they still haven't fixed the bug that causes huge rectangular blocks of grain and lines to go across the screen like a bad cable reception.
They acknowledged the problem 2 months ago and have done nothing.
I hope Crytek goes bankrupt.
Not sure if that E3 demo was on PC or 360 but it looked amazing in terms of visual style and raw graphics.
If the price is right, I plan on getting one. I haven't had a Nintendo console in a long time.
....The controller still looks stupid in my opinion though. My hands will be 10 inches apart when playing games. It really is sort of like play on an iPad with buttons.
Also, I hope it's not true that the screen isn't multi-touch, talk about limiting the screen functionality if so.
