Yes, it's part of every other form of entertainment/art.
The author was trying too hard to hard; the writing was extremely flowery. It became a chore to cut through over-elaborate the writing to get to the actual point or statement.
It was like the author was more concerned with masturbating his intellect then describing the interview.
Crytek should try and fix Crysis 2 before they botch up another one. The grain glitch and sound problems still exist.

It's the characters I think, they are all very bland. I absolutely loved K3s MP and really enjoyed the SPs gunplay (I played the campaign 3 times) but Sev has to be one of the most uninteresting main characters ever.

Killzone 3 was pretty damn amazing.
I really don't think Halo will be Halo without Bungie. Already, only from that CG for Halo 4 something seemed off, like it was missing a certain magic or Halo essence.
I like BF3 because I owned MW2 and later bought BFBC2 and though the MP in BFBC2 was incredible - like nothing I've ever played.
I was so cool running away from gun fire into a building only to have a tank blow up the wall beside your cover, then being forced to grow some balls and do man vs. tank and win.
So many awesome experiences from BFBC2 make me need BF3.

I agree this E3 seemed poorly done by the big three. MS was all about Kinect, Sony seemed invisible and Nintendo probably had the worst next-gen console reveal ever.
The last 2 E3s for MS have been all about Kinect with a secondary focus on multiplats and then a minor focus spent on an exclusive or two. I was excited for the Kinect core games but sadly they all seem like crap.

Still hasn't shown that it's useful for core games. Even Child of Eden, it's major core game (still on rails) controls much worse with Kinect than a pad according to reviewers.
The current hardware will never be good enough, maybe Kinect 2 will revolutionize controls but what's out now can't even control simple games. Great potential, still too early.

Eventually budget PCs that everyone has will have great graphics as we're hitting a level t graphics where everything will look really good.
When the lowest common denominator can play great looking games on a PC, IPad, phone, etc. then consoles will probably go away.

Judging from the demo Split/second was a really fun game but it had to be popular to sell. I know that circular reasoning, but it needed an online community for me to be interested in buying it.
