That makes sense, Kinect can't really control games that well.
Miyamoto will go down in history as the greatest game creator ever but he has been making some of less than brilliant decisions lately - like pushing for the 3DS to only have one analog.
Halo is still the killer app for 360.
It's a much better series IMO in terms of SP and MP.
Also, Halo could easily branch out into major films while Gears never could (shallow story with meat head characters), plus halo sells a lot more.
As a 360 owner, I'd be a lot more upset if there were no more Halo games than Gears. Still upset about Bungie not making them, not sure if the series is going to be any good now.
What I got from the story is that they left because they think consoles are on the way out...fairly quickly too.
That, or they were just offered a lot more money, which is probably the case.
I doubt the game will suffer, it probably jut being polished now anyways.
Personally, every time I go from playing my 360 to my PS3 the PS3 controller feels less confortable.
The triggers need more resistance, the analogs (and triggers) should be concave, and the controller shape needs a slight upgrades.
And rumble could be stronger.
I disagree with the controller point, 360s controller is much better IMO.
FPS games cause me more stress because you have to be hyper-vigilant for enemies.
The next-gen is starting.
I think the time to release a next gen console is when the current gen console's manufacturing price is around $100.
No, this is just rumour mongering.
Is Halo Coming to PS3?
Will 360 Get the Next Zelda Game?
Wii U To Be 50 Times More Powerful Than PS3?
See anyone can do it.
I was going to click then saw it was from planetxbox.com
Any chance of them not being biased probably doesn't exist.
No gamer should be supportive of the HD-less 360 version because it has restricted games' potential to some extent as devs often design to the lowest common denominator and are only now providing advantages to HD capable machines.
The people that care about sales more than games will defend the Arcade and probably say it hasn't affected game quality.
If games get to even 90 bucks I'm never buying a game again.
Maybe it was a crazy gamer.
I was playing Gears 3 MP the other day and these two guys were trash talking and taking it really seriously until one guy said the other guys was all balls hiding behind a mike or something, to which that guy responded by giving out his home address and taunting him to come to his house and talk shit, then they went on threatening "your dead bud' and 'big mistake'.
Maybe sometimes people make good on the threats....
All I know is that after BF3 and MW3 released the Gears 3 players halved which sucks.
Those games are definitely worth more than the asking price. They're actually both really good games.
Killzone 3 has extremely satisfying gunplay (some of the best IMO) the bullets really feel like they impact enemies and Crysis 2 if kinda like Halo meets COD in a good way with stealth thrown in the mix.
Both are nice on the eyes to by console standards.
You won't learn anything about women in games or 90% of movies.
Sadly though, you may be able to learn actual stuff about an alarming number of women on Jersey Shore....
True, there certainly are some PC game exclusives that are great. My comment is directed at those PC gamers that say they can't look at a console game because the graphics are too bad, there's actually a lot of them on N4G.
What PC-only gamers don't realize is that if you get rid of your consoles you also throw away any chance of playing some of the best games each generation.
It may be hard to believe that while graphics are important, gameplay and games matter more.
Why would you buy Kinect if the games are unappealing? It's obvious that it's very limited as a game controller.
That's and expensive dashboard remote.
