When they said Gears 3 was "extremely colourful" they meant relative to what exactly? Gears 3 had more sunlight but it was still a very brown and grey game.
Nevertheless it's still an amazing looking game, although, I think Batman AC graphics look better, but that's all at night so it's probably easier to render.
Both suck IMO, Move tech provided great potential but Sony dropped the ball by only giving it half-assed support. If MS created Move tech, it would be supported in every 3rd party FPS game by now and there'd be exclusive core Move games made by 3rd parties.
MS bet the farm (360 game core support) on Kinect but it's never going to work properly for core games, it's just too limited as a controller. Maybe Kinect 2 can.
MS should stop trying in vai...
The digital age is very far away in Canada, we have very small bandwith caps.
I love the fact my PS3 and 360 don't only play games and can act as complete entertainment hubs.
I'm always using them for movies and music. I'll welcome added functionality (TV, Internet).
Just because a game isn't in the top of metacritic doesn't mean it's not a great game.
The Infamous and Killzone series are among my favourite this gen and their ratings are in mid-high 80s.
A lot of the times the difference between an 85 and 95 is just hype and/or marketing dollars, not actual game quality.
Bungie's next game is a multiplat and is being published by Activision so they lost Bungie already.
I still don't understand why they sold Bungie, they're the creators of their biggest franchise.
It was probably to make some quarterly earning report look good to investors or some other short-sighted financial goal.
Are cows chickens?
If I'm a guy and I love sleeping exclusively with women, does that make me gay?
IS left right?
At this point neither lost, even if PS3 or 360 goes on to sell 10 mill more than the other by the end of the gen it won't matter, both already have sold over 50 mill - it's not like devs won't make games for them.
The only losing consoles were the ones where 3rd parties stopped releasing major games for.
They essentially tied this gen.
Would anybody care which flop (games-wise) flopped more. I don't.
Both kinda suck.
Gamestop should be like a bar and only hire attractive women, then people would love gamestop.
I can understand why gamestop employees aren't that nice.
It must be hard actually coming face-to-face with all the trolls that most people only experience on the internet.
Mario Kart needs track creation, extensive and in-depth online MP component and detailed stat tracking - that would be amazing and worthy of 9's.
Nintendo's has it too easy with reviewers sometimes.
I like PSN for the sole reason that everything is cheaper on PSN than on Live.
I don't know about the rest of world but in Canada, Live is a rip off
HD New Release Movie (Exact Same Movie):
PSN -$4.99
Live - 490 MS Points = $7.12
DLC Game/Expansion/Map Pack, etc.
PSN - 14.99
Live - 1200 MS Points = 17.40
Sony really dropped the ball on Move. It's shame too because the tech is awesome, they should have got it implemented in every shooter because it was amazing in Killzone 3.
All I'm saying is that Rare and Lionhead USED TO create some of the best games around....
I'm not the typical gamer, I find myself playing Deus Ex. But in all fairness, I don't have Skyrim yet.
If they really wanted to sell a lot of copies they would have offered a GTA5 demo
I didn't know there was a 360 demo. Nice!
Author is way to melodramatic. Get a life buddy.
They should have just included an HD version of the Gamecube MGS 1 in them MGS HD Collection - it would have been perfect.
