Gears is great, I own all three but it's clear that they're in a rut with innovating and story telling.
Gears 1 is largely credited with ushering the cover mechanic in full force, now a lot of other game do cover gameplay better and the Gears 3 story was a joke with no punchline.

Platinum makes some of the best gameplay, I just hope someone else is handling the story.
Xbox 1 was amazing, it had better exclusives than 360 because MS cared about trying to win over gamers. Now that they have, MS said F-you, play Halo and multiplats while we try and wind over casuals with Kinect.
Xbox 1 was way better than 360, it was the birthplace for modern day Western RPGs on consoles.

And Battlefield 3 is nowhere to be found. I just bought the game 2 days ago but the controls are extremely loose, it's really weird...and bad.
If there was no Kinect, we'd all be able to use voice commands with the headset.
Only reason we can't is that Kinect needs selling points and it certainly isn't the game quality.
So not only has Kinect deprived us of better games, it also has limited the way we can control the dashboard.
PS3 has a lot of exclusives that sell better than 360s, it's just that PS3 has so many exclusives that obviously many don't sell better.
It's a shame because the Infamous and Killzone series are great games, not sure if sony needs better marketing so people are hyped about them releasing.
