The Fight is actually the best fitness game I've played on the PS3. Zumba is more of a dance routine game (as far as I understand).
Half of the PS3's exclusives could be delayed and it would still have the best lineup of 2011.
I simply want to play an Elder Scrolls game that doesn't have broken physics, broken quests, and broken character animations.
Most of the "positive" reviews are from no-name sites. IGN is the only big site that gave it a high score (an 8 or 8.5 if I remember). As I mentioned, 1up, Eurogamer, Gamespot, Edge, etc all gave it a low score.
So...no.
360 is definitely going to have games (see SMOK3x's comment at the top), but the "Microsoft doesn't announce its games until a few months before" myth isn't going to save 2011. Every big-name 360 game of 2010 (Reach, ME2, Fable III, Kinect, Splinter Cell Conviction, Alan Wake, etc) was announced at LEAST 18 months before they launched. Nope, not nearly good enough reasons for me, especially since playing a 360 will take away time from playing all the games on my PC, PSP, DS, possibly 3DS, and my PS3. It just isn't worth it.
Let's hope Microsoft can fix this.
Kinect will likely always suffer from these sort of issues. When your input is a camera, there are going to be limitations. It just seems silly that she can't play a game sitting down.
If you don't already have a PS3, get on it! Not only does 2011 have a ton of games, but you have a lot of catching up to do with years of some of the highest-rated exclusives of the generation such as LBP, Metal Gear Solid 4, Uncharted 2, and more.
For me, it's hard to be a multi-console gamer. I have limited time and I already play games on my DS, PSP, PC, and PS3. There's no reason why I would need a 360. I hate how some users on this site act as though you need to own all the consoles to be a "true gamer" or to not be a fanboy.
Forza 3 or GT5?

Anyone who has seen Lens of "Truth"s comparisons over the past 12-18 months already knows to not trust them.
Anyone who considers themselves a gamer should at least try this game. It's unlike anything currently on the market.
I'm on my 5th playthrough with a melee/archer character, and a 2nd playthrough with a mage. And I don't see myself putting this game down anytime soon.
This author is entitled to his opinion, but it seems a bit nitpicky to be bothered by the story when most big-name game storylines this generation - Halo, Call of Duty, inFamous, GTA4, Gears of War, the list goes on - are equally mediocre. I didn't play GoW for the storyline at all, and marking it down would be like marking down a Mario game for its storyline (oh wait, the media is willing to give Mario a pass but not other games? Big surprise!)
LBP2 is gonne be amazing.
And then a few days later, Dead Space 2 collector's edition w/ Dead Space Extraction...
The handhelds and the Wii especially have been getting some awesome 2D games, as well as XBLA and PSN.
But there are also hundreds of awesome 2D games on PC that people should try.

And most of the people who mock Heavy Rain's storyline are hypocrites. You call out Heavy Rain's plot inconsistencies and cheesiness, and yet you fall in love with Gears of War bromance or the "unique" storyline of Halo?

I love Heavy Rain and I think it's a great game. Conversely, I think Gears of War is one of the worst games ever.
And you know what? No one should care. My preferences aren't everyone else's preferences.
Yup, Baldur's Gate (on PC, not console) is still one of the best RPG storylines out there, although Planescape Torment has a better story and better characters overall, IMO.
