Many Sub-HD games look better than many HD games. I honestly don't think resolution is a big deal.
Hardly any games this generation run in 1080p. I wasn't expecting a graphical powerhouse like Crysis 2 to buck that trend.
Well that's a giant middle finger to all those people that accused Crytek of being "lazy devs".
100% agree. At the beginning of this generation most of the games you were seeing were last-gen games in HD. Now that developers are starting to hit the ceiling in graphical performance, they can spend more time being creative, whether it be unique art styles, gameplay mechanics or deep storytelling.
And anyway, why are people so desperate to throw their money at new consoles, which are inevitably going to cost upwards of £500?
Why do people think Halo is milked? There's been 6 installments over 10 years. God of War has had 5 installments in 5 years but nobody complains about that. As long as each installment is quality and has made some progression then what's the problem?

Halo 3 was the last game in that story arc, and Reach was the last game by Bungie. Not that hard to understand.

You lot and your fanboy absolutes. It's like you're all competing for an award if you can prove which version is better. I guess admitting both version look fantastic is too much to ask.
I agree, people slate this game because it's for Kinect but once you actually play it is a very fun game. I'd rather Rare be making games they are known for, but Kinect Sports is hardly shovelware.
I'd rather play the one with the better gameplay.
The Resi Evil Gamecube period was a low in the series for me. Not because they were bad games, but making them exclusive to a Nintendo system when the first 3 titles were recognized Playstation games was a despicable business decision.
I wouldn't have Resi 4 in the top 3 personally, all of the qualms that people had with Resi 5 I had with 4. Good to see Resi 2 at the top, best in the series by some distance. Why they didn't bother to remake it instead of wasting their time with Resi 0 is anyone's guess.
Whether you like it or not, COD is the FPS to beat. Many will dispute it's quality but it is dominating the industry in terms of popularity.
I don't think Halo needs to be the FPS king, as long as 343 continues the legacy of the series and produces quality games then it will always be held in high regard.
Reach was the best in the series since Halo 2.

Everyone was bashing the "why you shouldn't buy a PS3 article" for being flamebait, and yet a much worse article like this is praised for raising valuable points. Just shows that flamebait has nothing to do with it, it depends on the console being critiqued and how it fares with the fanboy majority.
I often exercise in between rounds of COD. Much better than just sitting there for 2/3 hours of gaming.
Shenmue invented quick time events, which is what the gameplay of Heavy Rain essentially consists of.
I personally loved Fable 3, but I do agree that the series needs a break. RPGs aren't games you can bring out every 2 years and expect to make huge steps forward.
