It is really surprising to see gaming bringing in a significant portion of MS revenue even though it is generally believed that it forms only a small part. However, one has to see that it also includes revenue from mobile gaming as well as Minecraft. Furthermore, revenue does not means profit. Once you substract teh costs from teh revenue you get the profit or loss. However, if Xbox forms a significant portion of profit generated from gaming then it is definitely not going anywhere.
It is a legendary franchise man with great gameplay, graphics and charm. It is just family friendly. Besides, variety is never bad. We do not need to kill people, monsters and aliens in every game we play. Similarly, we do not need to have cute anthropomorphic animals and creatures in every game. It looks nice! I wonder when they are releasing this. Maybe around the 3.5 firmware update. I am eagerly waiting for that offline/incognito feature. Really tired of friends contantly sending invitations to help them with some mission or join them in chat for meaningless blah blah blah. Its looks decent but man I am still waiting for a good non-indie game. I wonder what will the author say if the same companies join back next year? In order to observe a "trend" you have to see it repeat for multiple period of time and not just a single year. Companies have always been joining and leaving E3 each year depending on if they have got anything worth showing or if they have enough to show to hold their own event. However, IF the same companies do not join again next year and more companies leave then we can say there is a trend.

But MS releasing games on PC was a master stroke and was a great strategy since so many more players will get to play them and bring in much more revenue for MS. Why suddenly defend that certain games will not come to PC and be happy about it?
