Man, I am not sure about this. It will fracture the 40+ million installed base and give rise to so many issues. Furthermore, it just not possible from a cost perspective as 4K hardware is too expensive so such a console will not be cheapand you need to own a 4K TV first which are also expensive and rare. If they are just introducing a 4K movie player or it is just a slim model then I am fine with it because I can live without it.
But if they are upgrading the gaming hardware ...
Man, I played it for 9 months and most people are really bad. They feel so high and mighty about their gear and skills. They embarass and humiliate others for their inferiority, frequently calling them noobs and scrubs. They tell you to just quit playing or reroll your character because to them you are terrible. You only need the camera; move controllers may or may not be needed. For example, they are not needed for the cinematic mode. I am most interested in that mode! It is not as big of a deal as the haters are making it out to be. Those accessories are very cheap. They are desprately trying to find something negative with PSVR and are making a mountain out of a mole hill.

That is very sad and disappointing. They tried so hard to turnaround Driveclub and made it a pretty great game through excellent support. Their technical expertise is superb as well given the fact how good Driveclube looks. I wonder if they are being absorbed into other first party studios or are they out of jobs?
Have you checked the DF analysis? It is actually pretty bad looking except the character models. It is blurry and fuzzy because of the low resolution. Shadows are low quality. Draw distance is poor and you can see shadows pop in right in front of you. Finally, it is mostly 720p. How does that makes it the best looking game? It is good looking but has too many flaws to be called bad looking.

It is a stupid rumor and it wont happen. First of all 4K resolution with modern graphics requires a powerful graphics. This powerful graphics card is very expensive, eats up a lot of electricity and generates a lot of heat. This heat will requires a bigger heat sink, bigger fan and more effective cooling system. The console will also need a bigger power supply. That means the console will grow in size as well.

That is very disappointing to read. If the motion controls are really that bad then it will be very difficult to enjoy VR games. However, I find it hard to believe that a company would launch poorly working product. It will just never succeed and they know that. There will be major backlash and lots of negative publicity. There has got to be some specific reason why the previewer struggled with teh controls but if there isnt then PSVR will not do good unless they fix the issues before launch....

It looks kind of real... I can see the B button in its correct position but I cannot see the A, X, and Y buttons. I am not okay with a PS4K if it means the games will look and run better on teh newer console. I will be even more unhappy if certain games do not run on the old console at all. This would be just a bad move by Sony. Why alienate more than 40 million PS4 owners??
