The point is that isnt it a deception? The first trailer blew away everybody and made Wii U owners proud. Many argued that the Wii U with its mythical GPGPU was very powerful and the trailer was a proof. However, the actual game did not turn out to be what they promised in the first trailer. That is lying and deception used to generate hype similar to what Ubisoft often does. We also do not hear about that fabled GPGPU anymore.
I hope the ugly screenshots are just from an old build instead of the console version. That cliff and foliage looks like out of a last gen game. :-(

Complacent means a person who is fine with things the way they are. It perfectly describes Nintendo gamers. They are always happy to play the 30th Mario, 20th Pokemon and 15th Legend of Zelda on 7 year old outdated hardware. The nostalgia of childhood is clouding your judgement. Most of the people who pick up a Nintendo console or games today do not find anything special about them.
