First of all this is neither a Nintendo nor a Xenoblade article so keep them out of here. No need to play the victim. People have been on CDProject's ass for months regarding the apparent graphical downgrade. In comparison, X has received no criticism from its fans and very little by the media. It is not like Xenoblade is the only game that was criticized for downgrade. These are just few of the responses that the Witcher 3 got.

I do not think anybody has seen or played the final build yet. Even the journalists who were recently flown to the developer's studio played the January build and mentioned it clearly. Where is this final build that the author speaks of? Besides the screenshots need to be at the same time of day to make an accurate comparison. Filler article; nothing more.

I have inquired Nintendo fans about games with stories on the Wii U since Nintendo games rarely feature a decent story and I have often been told by them that games are meant for playing and if you want a story then go watch a movie or read a book.

Xenoblade Chronicles X is not the same genre as Puzzle and Dragons so there reviews are not comparable. Both of them were rated according to their respective genres and their standards. The difference in score only means that Puzzle and Dragons is a very good puzzle game and X is a good JRPG.
That 300+ figure is grossly inflated. No Japanese reviews state that it takes 300 hours to complete the game. That 300 hour figure was only mentioned to highlight that the game's clock can go beyond 99 hours unlike Xenoblade for Wii. Furthermore, Takashi was playtesting the game so it can take him 999 hours but it does not means the game is that long. You will be sorely disappointed when the game releases if you really expect it to last 300 hours in a meaningful and meaty way.
