Congrats to Sony and PS4 fans. I am glad that Playstation is back on top again and JRPGs are getting a revival. Games are becoming more diverse too. That period of domination by the Xbox in the last gen killed a lot of genres of games and we lost much diversity. It was like some dark ages of gaming where mostly we got shooters and sports games. I am more bummed about the fact that the Middle-Eastern versions will be censored in terms of sex, nudity and violence. I get games from all regions in my country and often they are from the Middle-East. My FF Type-0 copy is from Middle-East but I sure wont be touching a Middle-Eastern copy for this game. I hope I can get an uncensored copy from another region. No use playing a butchered masterpiece.

I saw that coming. That is why there was such a long gap between Japanese and English release. They just can't ignore the massive PS4 sales. I am happy. My ps3 was dying so had to sell it. Now I will not miss this game.
You must be sarcastic,right? Now even five whole days aren't enough? A game rarely gets 7 days to sell in it's first week. Besides sales ALWAYS go down in second week even if it got only one day of sales in the first week. People who gonna buy in the first week do so in the first couple of days. The don't wait for the last day of the week.
None of the other game sales include digital too so the comparison is levelled and fair. The game should have topped the charts being the first and only JRPG on the console. Nintendo held so many directs and presentations to build hype for this game.

trolololol. Playstation gamers love the diverse games on the platform since its founding and that is why they want them. They are not satisfied playing annual iterations of shooters and racers. The release date for the game was APRIL 29 and the DLC was announced on April 28 and releases on May 8 so, NO; people did not have the game for "weeks" before release. That 300+ figure is grossly inflated. No Japanese reviews state that it takes 300 hours to complete the game. That 300 hour figure was only mentioned to highlight that the game's clock can go beyond 99 hours unlike Xenoblade for Wii. Furthermore, Takashi was playtesting the game so it can take him 999 hours but it does not means the game is that long. You will be sorely disappointed when the game releases if you really expect it to last 300 hours in a meaningful and meaty way.
