I agree that most of those games do not have a mass appeal and do not sell millions but games like Disgaea, Persona, Dragon Quest and Tales have a significant or at least cult followings. Those fans have to buy the PS4 to play those games so they are contributing to the hardware and software sales for Sony.
I acknowledge that Xbox is releasing much bigger and high profile exclusives games this year but what about next year and the year after that? People wont be getting Halo ...

The 3DS is a $200 handheld; the 2DS is even cheaper. They are basically cheap gaming alternatives that parents can buy for their children. That is why kiddy games sell on it. The problem with that Wii U list is that it is not desirable for most. Nintendoland? Wonderful 101? Pikmin 3? Toad Treasure Tracker? Zombie U? Mario Party 10? Kirby? This game is probably the biggest incident of milking in gaming ever. You can spend $200 on it but you will still not end up with the complete game. Although, the costumes are just so... tempting. It is like being hypnotized and made to give your money to someone. ;-)
About that jab towards Sony, I have been wondering that if they are launching BC with Xbox 360 titles then why are they releasing the Gears of War Remaster?? Why are they making people pay for it when they can just play their original Gears of War discs? Besides BC means little in the grand scheme of things. Please give credit where it is due. It is only your own youth and ignorance if you do not even know what Shenmue is. Those three games (Shenmue, Last Guardian and FF7 Remake) that were announced are MYTHICAL. People were begging for them for YEARS. Even one of them would have been enough to win the conference but ALL THREE is just no contest and overkill.

Just "match it and then some!?" They blew em out of the water! Out of the damn ocean! That Sony press conference was unimaginable! If anybody said last week that they were going to show FF7 Remake, The Last Guardian and Shenmue III all at once at E3, nobody would have believed it in a million years! But that is just what happened today. It is just mindblowing!

Just gorgeous and awesome gameplay for Uncharted 4! This was the most mind-blowing E3 and Sony press conference that I have ever watched! I kept my hopes down and I was blown away. Now THAT is a stellar and winning E3 press conference! My God!

BC is not as big of a deal as people are making it out to be. The Xbox 360 had BC, PS3 fat had BC and Wii U currently has BC. What good did that do to those consoles especially the Wii U which as an immense library of many high quality Wii games. Yet nobody is tempted to buy a Wii U by its BC. PS3 dropped PS2 BC and nobody cared about its loss except a few.
