Just go ahead a run that RE2 remake with the vram over max. I did and got 60fps with only the volumetric lighting turned down, I maxed everything else max@4k. The game showed me being in the red on memory, but its not accurate. Try it

Everybody talking about monitors being the only thing that runs 1440p are confusing me. Every 4k tv I have hooked to can run 1440p. And it is a an optimal resolution to run demanding games at. It makes no damn sense that Sony would not support it. I own ps4 pro, an x1x, and and i7 1080ti rig. They all will output 1440p on samsung, vizo, and lg 4k tvs I have around the house.
I pay for the hardware, the electric, game, internet, and a subscription service on consoles just to play it. I'll be damn if I'm gonna sit through ads on top of it all. I'm not even counting the slimy MTs that plagues these sports games. The saddest thing of all is if nobody would buy these games, this shit would stop immediately.
Did yall not unlock the zombie campaign mode in BLOPS 3? It had a normal campaign that after you play through it, you could plat the campaign again with a different story line that blended with the normal story. Except it was all 4 player zombies campaign!

The game looks good in some spots, but the textures are awful at times. I'm playing on a pro too! After you blow up the reactor and your in a collapsed tunnel on your way to section 8, I swear there are some ps2 textures on some of the broken chunks of concrete!
I have 2 ps4s, one for me and one for the wife. As it is now I only ever have to buy one digital copy of a game and I only pay for one ps+. I set her console as my primary and she has access to my library and my ps+. On my actual ps4, so long as I connect to the net, I can actually play with her online using the same copy of a game. You just cant do that with a physical disc.
