Selling incomplete games is partly why they're in this mess in the first place. Glad to see my boycotting of Capcom games/buying used is working.
The thing is, it's rarely journalism, it's just regurgitate press releases or flamebait articles. Eurogamer & Edge are about the only websites to get interesting thought provoking pieces.
They could have spend a fraction of the budget of Resident Evil 6 to get MH 4 on the Vita.
I would like Nintendo to do some cross platform games between the WiiU & 3DS. Perhaps that new Link to the Past...
Good. These things shouldn't even be classed as games, or social for that matter.
I thinking Project Zwei too. That image looks like the early concept art. So excited!
If they're promote PS4 in the UK in May, it's almost definitely out in Europe this year! Great news!
Sony have PlayStation Plus, MS does this...
Cloud saving is a back up, but a replacement!
With always online, it'll probably limit used sales too. Best just leave their games on the shelf, there's many other developers that deserve your money.
Really shows how out of touch publishers are. Strange, especially as Ubisoft 's PC games sales dropped dramatically with Uplays DRM. Always online = No buy.
Go back to Dragon Age 2!
Every game does have to be a massive blockbuster. The midbudget games are normally the classics: ZombiU, Bayonetta, Dark Souls etc
Zombiu is one of the best of last year, with some of the most intelligent puzzles ever placed in a game. A combination of old Resident Evil games with Demon Souls: What's not to like? I'm hopefully for a sequel.
I don't know what world you live in, but convictions for rape stand at 2% in the UK (rape is in sociological analysis one of the most unreported crimes too). I'm not suggesting false rape claims don't occur, but rapist's getting away with their crimes is a far bigger phenomenon.
Actully it's good for everyone: Gamers get loads of cheap content, Sony has a loyal following & makes money from subscriptions, publishers can put on games that have dlc or a sequel coming (probably the best form of advertising!) & developers remain in business & cut deals with Sony.
I hate bloggers (obviously not a journalist) who feel it's unnatural for gamers getting to good a deal, we should be f**ked royally & be happy about it!
...
Square Enix: The EA of Japan.
Where has Microsoft announced the specs? Haven't the rumoured specs suggested it's not as powerful as PS4?
I can name dozens of games on the Super Nintendo better than Crysis (100's if we're talking Crysis 2 or 3). Says it all really.
The principle is Capcom gets no money from me until their policies change.
