Square Enix blame "the market" & Eidos for problems they've created in Japan: Final Fantasy XIII & XIV. A new quality Final Fantasy would help, but I think RPG's like Secret of Mana, Front Mission & TWEWY on PSN/WiiU eshop would be a good idea: Relatively inexpensive projects that fans would love.
Square Enix still don't get it. They've forgotten the most important thing: Make great games. Eidos is the only thing keeping them relevant.
Playstation without Wipeout is like Tom without Jerry. It should never happen!
If Deep Silver personify the worst of the business side of the industry, you personify the worst of the player side.
There's no way EA is making exclusive titles for MS, they sell more on PS3 than any other console. I do suspect Microsoft has paid a lot for exclusive DLC though(instead of exclusive games/studios, sigh)
Everyone keeps saying this. The difference is the WiiU had a massive opening & sales have dropped dramatically. Out of sales of 3.4 million, only 400,000 have been since after Xmas, that is a complete disaster. The PS3 was $600 dollars & MS couldn't keep up with demand!
As a WiiU owner, I'm really not loving the system. Multiple delays of titles promised for the "launch window", expensive hardware relatively (I got mine in a HMV flash sale thankfully) & terrible, dated OS. I think it's gonna have great, original titles over it's lifetime: but recommend getting it at the end of the generation. Nintendo gives all it's love to the 3DS.
The Cell Processor was expensive too. Yields were terrible & it was incredibly expensive to develop. It was way beyond it's time really.
Improved graphics is a bonus, but it's about the scale, scope & animation of next generation that's really grabbed me. Lots of RAM & bandwidth is going to make the next generation very exciting indeed.
Great news! Looking forward to offline & online play. This, Second Son, Knack & Killzone at Playstation 4 launch. *Faints*
Dark Souls is probably easier to most people who have played Demon Souls. You have certain expectations & know how the game works. Dark Souls scale & level design put it in a class of its own.
Batman was worst on the Wii U.
Who cares if it sells a few million more or less than another game? It's likely gonna be successful, what matters is that it's a good game.
I don't know about Gears or Forza, but Fable 2 & 3 are a pile of shit.
A Nintendo version of PS Plus with Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64 & Gamecube classics would be ace.
It's one of the best games I've ever played. Every time I leave the safe house is full of tension. The puzzles can be real mind benders too!
Shadow of the Damned was just sent out to die. EA had no faith in the title at all.
Scale makes the Vita expensive, not how powerful it is. You can't compare phone parts to PC ones.
$400/£300 = Sony have obviously thought about the price before anything else, price definitely damaged the PlayStation 3 early on. They want this machine to be the new PlayStation 2.
