I think you know the answer to that!
(Dooo-it! Dooo-it!)
Woah, wasn't this same thing just rejected a minute ago?
Asking for those things are about as likely to happen as Activision going one year without 2 GH game releases.
I gotta hand it to them, if they really do turn out looking like this in the final release, it's going to be one pretty game!
Did we need reminding?
You know what? that's not the first time I've seen someone say that they are putting Uncharted on the backburner for DS.
And yes, a sequel would be great.
DVD, a format that must be at least 7 years older than blu-ray, has faster reading speeds? It sure as hell should.
Mr. Bashcraft might want to take a look at those PS3 games that don't require installs, and don't make you sit through loading screen after loading screen. There's a couple this year, and they both happen to be GOTY nominees.
Christ, they'll post anything for hits won't they?
Edit: Ok, one has loading screens. But it hasn't been a problem f...
No mention of the Z-cam, and how it was basically an improved Eyetoy/PSEye? And that Natal is basically a Z-cam (not the pioneer of motion capturing hardware utilized in controlling videogames)?
I hope every other Pro-Natal blogger starts doing some research being writing this stuff up.
Not a terrible article, but it's surely a sign of things to come.
Yeah, different consumers for the two consoles.
Don't forget that the PS2 was still going really strong during that time, so it wasn't as if every ps2 owner hopped on board with Microsoft's console. There were people still playing last-gen games. I think Sony's preservation of the PS2 helped them out tremendously, because it kept the brand on the shelves, in people's faces, not as if the console support just disappeared while waiting for the PS3 to take off.
I avoid G4tv.com for any news. I love sessler's soapbox though, really good stuff. The reviews are also worth checking out.
Unfortunately, trying to have a decent discussion with 99% of the posters on there is just impossible. The mindless fanboy rants on that site (comments sections) surpasses this site easily. There are a lot of people on here I enjoy hearing comments from, but I can't say the same for g4tv.com.

I agree 100%. All those characters are iconic for different reasons. Success, fun, and immersion aren't equal by how "grown up" characters seem to be. Well, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Like I said, it all depends on the creator's vision.
This is a little off topic, but I just thought.. What if Nintendo rode the wave of FPS success from Goldeneye and PD and kept going from there? Hahaha, Nintendo --paying off Activision for MW2/being further immortalized as the "shooter box" (someone mentioned above). They probably could have done it.
I wonder why they didn't stick more closely to the shooter genre? Lack of control over it? Couldn't create a first-party fps genre to milk? It's not as if Sony was doing re...
Unfortunately not everyone who watches television and sees those ads are as educated as you.
Not trying to sounds like a d*ck, but seriously. Anyone on here knows the difference, but not everyone else does.
Borderlands is pretty good, Band1t... Although I've only played it on multiplayer, for about 10 hours despite owning the damn thing (bought on release day). You can blame Demon's Souls for that, though.
I want to say yes and no to that one. It really depends on the game. Overall though, I would have to say games for older audiences should at least *try* to feature characters that aren't laughable. You could take Gordon Freeman, Master Chief, Mario, and Nathan Drake and compare them all. The first three characters mentioned are VERY iconic, but have next to no personality. Then you have Nathan Drake, who isn't as iconic as these characters, but seems more along the lines of a character David ...
Maneater's not so bad if you keep him from duplicating...otherwise, yeah... Good luck.
Flamelurker is the worst boss in the game. Fastest boss, with AOE fireballs at point blank range. And he lunges just about everywhere he wants. He's sort of like fighting a Blangonga, or a Rajang from Monster Hunter. They're not anymore friendlier.
What the hell was he babbling on about? Feels like Zelda, it's boring and boring people play it..umm.. checking wiki's and tantric sex?
Edit: *I think* he liked it????
yeah.. N64 emulators aren't that pretty on psp. But some do work. Played through SMB quite a few times, and some Quest 64.
I own both D1&2 and Borderlands, and no it's most definitely not the diablo of this gen. Diablo 3 won't even be the diablo of this gen unless they do some sort of major overhaul to the game.
We're not going to get diablo 1 or 2 ever again. Especially not 1.
