"Repurchase" is the name of the game.
Still feels too early for KZ3. I was hoping Guerrilla was planning on doing a new game. A new IP maybe. :(
Y'know what? They really deserve it too. Nice to see some love for the European PSN users.
Maybe it's prep work for cross-game chat?! :o
It would be wise for them to get on top of that. They have some big games coming to their platform that could really benefit from this feature. Cross-game chart and invites.
Another reason for me to be perfectly fine with not ever purchasing this game.
QUAKE 2.
Enough said. Kill ratio made me wanna get up and shoot things outside of the game. The game's soundtrack tore my ears off my head when I first played it. Nowadays I tape them on the sides of my skull so they don't fall off. I blame Quake 2 for that though.
Too many awesome tracks in that game.
Quake 2, best soundtrack ever for a game. Ever! Here's a couple tracks.
Kill Ratio:
Funny, I read a comment just like that one on the Bitbag site, replying to this exact article there.
Some would think so..
Yeah that's what I was thinking. I mean, if the game is actually a sequel to D2, then there would be SOME sort of tech right (if not more improved tech)? A ranged character with tech weapons seems like the only thing missing that would make any sense in the Diablo universe.
I'm calling it!
A true successor to the assassin. Traps, tech, and possibly dark arts.
They did a bad job balancing the assassin class in D2 (fire traps garbage, all other traps but lightning sentry, shock web at high lvl, and death sentry were garbage, but VERY cool).
The claw skill tree was completely useless, totally outdone by feral and maul..
The kicking was half decent, but suffered further on in the game, and only really good in pvp. ...
MGS4 and Kojima Productions isn't on that list because "at that time", the PS3 was dead for the 80th time.. I don't think anyone really paid any attention to what they released (it's a shame, I know, but it's true).
I think this list was just another MW2 article in disguise. IW No. 1? No way!
Why didn't Epic get a spot on there? They raised the bar early this gen! I'd replace them with Bungie's mentioning for "this gen".
Naughty Dog at No. 1 would seem right though. JUST KIDDING! SILICON KNIGHTS ALL THE WAY! (har har har)
Definitely worth a go, I really like Alan's running and dodge animations, sweeeeet.
I think they should keep being asked that same question until they answer it right (or in a way that doesn't make them come off as lazy whiners).
That's true, Jaffe even did an interview with Kotaku within a Gears 2 game. Outspoken for sure, but childish towards competitors? No way.
Why couldn't Valve just say something like this?
"We've got a really good thing going here with the PC community, and it's there that we would prefer to focus on. Since Xbox 360 is closer to home in terms of the pc-like architecture and online service, we can focus more on a 360 version without the costs of a brand new PS3 de...
Looks impressive! I hope they release more info on it soon, I'm interested to see what it's all about.
One more thought, they do know that they could create a fancy home space for L4D, as well as have their own store on PSN where they could introduce some of their Steam products? They could even have PS3/PC gamers play together.
I understand Live has more numbers, but there is equal opportunity for them to make money on both online services. It doesn't make much sense really, for an "independent" dev to be so against making more money.
I'm sure that Valve porting their pc games to 360 is as easy as dropping a wad. They are not a little company, yet Gabe went on record saying they don't have the resources for ps3 development. Like anyone could believe that, coming from a long-time ex-MS employee.
While I agree that Live has a the stronger image of a better community, the "community" is hardly the issue here. If they're going to be like that, they might as well just be a first party dev for MS. Then eve...
I wouldn't rule out that possibility..
Then again, Reggie does like to spout nonsense .
Call me a jerk, but I was really hoping this game was going to get piss-poor reviews despite the hype. Would've sent IW and Activision a nice message. Eat it up, you'll be getting two every year from now on, with less and less features.
