I poured more hours into my PSP than any console to date. I'm a very happy PSP owner. The thing is damn near worn out now, with a dying analog pad, complete with a missing nub, and light scratches on the surface. 1000 model, purchased at launch.
She's a beaut, and whether it's dominating the handheld world or not, it's by far my most favorite/most played device in my possession. It's a damn fine device.
If you want the real Facebook on PS3, just use the damn broswer. Sheesh.

Limited or not, it's definitely the best RPG this gen IMO, and many, many others' too.
As good as Uncharted and the rest of the games this year were, I really think the PS3 user base who buys games and not just blu-rays want good RPG's more than TPS's. The game sold amazingly well despite absolutely no marketing, I really hope more developers follow From Software/SCEJ's lead and churn out some nice new RPG's..

I found that encountering bloodstains and dead hero/soldiers with their souls lying next to them really complemented each other. Even though these two things are separate, the placements of the bodies and the presence of the other player's bloodstains made everything feel really unified and made so much sense.
There's one very clear message present in DS, and it's always: "Do NOT end up like THIS guy."
After my third new+ I didn't find I was getting much more souls, even with thirst. I played it religiously, but lately I've been sleeping on it, mainly because it got too easy, and my levels have slowed to the point where I only level up from 1 to 2 boss fights. best game I've played all year though. The pureblack World event on Halloween was BAD ASS too. Gaaaawdd, what a great game. 100k is a good number for such an underrated game.

They kind of backed themselves into a corner on the RPG front. Any other RPG's they release will be competing with each other, and Blizzard's RPG's stomp everything else out there.
Think of Having MW2 and WaW2 release the same month, it'd kind of be like that.

Maybe they're re-doing the art style to something a little more... Diablo. That could take a long time, and I'd be willing to wait because of it.
I disagree. I think putting all your eggs in one basket to standardize a format is riskier than milking old IP's, and selling cheap, last gen hardware.
Too bad Square Enix will be the ones behind that sequel you (and many others) want.
