I think their ability to cast Ultima on all the modders might help too. From what I've seen the more tech-savvy the individual, the more they like to modify/pirate games. Like a lot of you out there I'm sure, I too am familiar real people like this, and this is always the case. If you can do it, why not they think? "It Saves me a ton of money", "games are too expensive anyway" "Why would I pay for a game I'll only play through once?" That's the response you'll ge...
I find it impossible (literally, zero results) for anything that isn't bodycount. DLC maps are almost never revealed after searching either.
If it's not Radec Academy, it's Tharsis Depot. Neither are maps I particularly like. Usually the only results that come up are either Warzone with tons of players in Radec/Tharsis (too chaotic for those maps IMO), or Bodycount in Radec/Tharsis.
More skills, more weapons, more non-repetitive environments, and then some big set pieces, and I'll be all for it. I loved the original as much as a person could, but it really was bad in some ways.
Delicious.
CoD, the most overrated FPS next to Halo3.
CoD crackheads jumped into KZ2 thinking it was just another FPS to twitch through. They didn't like it one bit when they found out that you had to actually put effort into aiming, like when you shoot a real gun. Spraying bullets into a wall with the closest thing to a P90 didn't guarantee kills either.
THEN, when they couldn't figure out why they weren't able to aim and shoot properly, it dawned on them. There was no aim-ass...
There was a time when we cried for no more WW2 shooters.
Well, we're headed for the times of "No more modern shooters".
Eventually they're going to overdo the sci-fi shooters too, and hopefully, that'll be the end of it.
No, I think we'll just have to deal with alternate time line games.
I want Koudelka and Vampire Hunter D up there too.
And how about some Armored Core? Or Front Mission 3?
I got my copy right here. I had to pick up a multitap to play this with my friends. It was worth it too, amazing game for its time.
It was also one of the first really bad games I played. Belladonna's crotch to face crush thing with the orgasmic moan? wtf? Bondage midget Imp. Cletus the cannibal?
I kick ass with Oddball though. Hospital patient skin though, with severed arms.
Tomba was insanely good. I do miss it :(
"We realize that From Software just released a game that is hard as hell, and people liked it. Since WE are teh best RPG makers this gen, Mass Effect 2 is going to be real hard and you're all gonna like it. You're hardcore if you can beat ME:2, no pampering the babies."
I'm not going to apologize for that interpretation, I think Bioware did some great stuff in the past, but I didn't really appreciate ME, KOTOR, or DA:O. ME and KOTOR were overhyped to no end and it kinda...
Unless you poured a ton of points into luck and wasted your ore by spreading them across many many weapons, I'd recommend continuing on with your character. You can shape them into anything you want with enough levels!
Many people don't realize that while the two types of PSP's exist, they are there to serve different purposes while still being able to play games. If you look at the DS, and DS Lite, nothing much was changed, they are not like what Sony did with the PSP with their redesign. This is more of a distribution change.
If people purchase games from XBLA or PSN, those people should not complain, as you never see physical media, and you are not guaranteed a refund if you're not satisfied...
I think Natal and Sony's "Wand" will see a market share similar to that of PSP/DS when compared to the Wii. It'll probably stay that way for a long time too, until the next generation of consoles.
See? I can pull a Pachter too!
Natal is vital for extending the console's lifespan and the audience they attract. Overpriced wireless adapters and HDD's is not what's going to do that.
They'll have to keep their price below or matching PS3's no matter what that, much is clear (unless there's a Halo released). I would think $289/299.99 for the Natal bundle is a bit more realistic. Remember they're going after the same suckers who bought the Wii, thinking it was a deal at $249.99.
They'll charge $120.00 for a measly little proprietary HDD, but they'll give you a sexy deal on their state-of-the-art gaming camera of the future?
Does that make any sense? Other than the fact that they could care less whether you have storage outside the Elite bundle?
A deal's a deal I suppose. I'd rather pay less for that camera than more obviously. The tech behind it must be extremely simple or something, it blows my mind that they'll debut their console's rebirt...
My friends sit around, waiting for me to die. It excites them, and they love seeing me rage when I get gangbanged by the two Maneaters. It's sadistic really, people sticking around and hoping for your demise. Waiting for that moment where they can say: "OHHH HAHAHAHA YOU JUST LOST 100,000 SOULS YOU IIIIDDDDIOOOTTT!"
Playing through the same stages is boring to watch though, but I found people enjoyed watching the boss fights quite a bit..
As for the game be...
Looks great! Is it just me, or does it appear to be fast-paced Killzone 2?
Character designs are grotesque, I dunno what they're thinking. That sliding action looks INCREDIBLE though. I dunno what to think about this.
Piracy helps the 360, no matter how anyone tries to spin it. More people buying consoles to mod them = more consoles sold. It's a good thing MS can ban them by the 100ks though, because if not...hooboy. They'd be in some trouble if some 20% of their customers stole instead of purchased games and they had no way to shake off those leeches.
A few stolen games is an acceptable loss to MS, I don't think they'll care when most of the modded consoles are banned from the only service th...
I *think* if you add up the sales of all the PS3 exclusives so far and compared them to the sales of the 360's exclusives (not including PC versions), I wonder if the numbers would be somewhat close. Gears and Halo occupy a ton of those 360 numbers though, so maybe they wouldn't be all that close, and given the install bases and attach rates, that guess could be completely off. I'm not an analyst, and I don't care that much to do the research. If a chart exists though, it would be neat to see...
