I really loved DW until I realized I would have to play about 123784634786 more after the 2nd installment.
capcom's got like 10 coming out/released this year hahah... Bungie and capcom's success are arguably comparably too.. They were also under MS's wing for a long time (pockets deeper than the ocean) and probably had all the funding they wanted.
I don't think Bungie should be looked upon under a harsh light though. They do what they do and they do it well. It's just unfortunate that they don't try something new every once in a while though. I thought Valve was the same way as Bungie...
I'm noticing a trend here. MS/Their devs seem to really enjoy targeting Sony games and outright gloating against them. As a developer, I don't understand why they would want to discredit the game that they are probably referencing/influenced by.
The Forza series (so far) are very easy to play and get into, feels very casual, and wtf is with the rewind? Really though, how many car accidents would have been undone if racing was that ummm...REAL? I enjoyed it enough though, temporar...

The PSPGO is something do not support. The psp is my favorite ANYTHING console since its release, and I'll be buried with the thing I love it that much.

Alan Wake did look amazing. Kinda gave me flashbacks of the first Silent Hill (very much a good thing).

If after all these years of waiting for a new SC title, and finally it it ends up sub-based, I don't think I'm going to bother with any post-2002 Blizzard games anymore. All I can do is hope that they don't pull down the older games anytime soon or suddenly charge for those.
Does anyone recall Microsoft's response to Sony when they said something about the functionality and high value of their machine when compared to the 360?
Sony released this list that had the 3 (pretty sure wii was on it) next gen consoles on it, and their features according to each SKU. The 360 was and PS3 were laid out side by side on the list, with the features and total cost, and in all instances the PS3 was clearly the one that made sense to buy.

Yeah.... There's a standard nowadays. I think the wii could easily pull off those visuals, if not the PS2. I'll defintely have to rent it.

I give it a solid 4, because unless I can dig a tunnel straight down (or any direction for that matter) for at least 100 feet at almost any time, it shouldn't even feature the name "Red Faction".

Sony used to be fine with marketing back in the PSX days. Check out any of the old Crash Bandicoot commercials, they were great. I remember one where they had him pull up to the Nintendo HQ and was shouting stuff. Great stuff.

$70.00 games and in some cases availability would be the two things that can make the decision of piracy so easy (or so I hear).

You must not have played KZ2 then? Or Liberation? Play KZ2 for a while, and you'll see that every new fps that comes out now feels like plastic to titanium, they just simply feel hollow (my opinion of course). I think the only other FPS that I've played that feels as beefy and solid is Black from last gen.
