Ehhhhh... Girl gamers aren't nearly as great as they sound. For girlfriends I mean. I think they make the best friends though.
Actually Vicekings, their stranglehold on everything but FPS's could be seen as a negative. If like 15 of the 30 million avid pc gamers out there are playing WoW, and not paying for new games, where does that leave the rest? Probably on Steam or wandering the old ever-populated battle.net rooms.
I find it funny that Gamesptops (major games retailer) all over are heavily reducing their pc games section, while WoW trial discs (dangling hooks) can be found almost everywhere. Normall...
It's all a matter of opinion though. If WoW is your thing, then fine. Everyone has their own ideas of how something should be, I just think it would be really great it blizzard stuck to THEIR first idea (not necessarily mine).
I totally welcome the gameplay changes though. I was hoping for a real next gen D3 that represented what D1 was though. I want the dark, gritty realistic/fantasy horror back in Diablo that's all.
for me it was the same, played the crap out of everything until WC3. I still play everything pre-WC3.
I wish they kept it in line with D1 though. It was probably one of the most atmospheric games I've ever played. I can remember just the environment, bgm and sounds made me want to stay out of the dungeons it was so eerie.
D2 didn't really carry that over well at all, and by the looks of it.... D3 should just be another warcraft game. Yeah I said it. But I'm a Diablo ...
I'm not too hung up on it. I mean, I'm sure in their exclusivity agreement with Microsoft somewhere in there was a "Nobody can find out it's even timed, give the illusion that it's never coming out for PS3, and avoid any questions regarding the DLC for PS3 until so and so date."
I'm really not surprised, but it's been like that for every timed exclusive the 360 had. There were no talks about the ps3 port/DLC until the sales all but evaporated from the 360 version. I'm k...
Interplay had some really great games. I hope Fallout is only the first of more remakes to come. I really want a next gen Carmageddon. Maybe even more so than a new Twisted Metal.
I've got my fingers crossed hoping that Blizzard actually does a new Redneck Rampage (they WERE the ones to acquire the rights for it a while ago right? I'm pretty sure it ws Blizzard). The old ones were creepy as hell, gritty, and hillarious too.
Fallout's great too, I guess.... despite th...
It all boils down to the developers and how they use the system. Sure you can throw anything at the 360 because its power is pretty straightforward to tap, much like a pc's (or so I've heard from the countless developers that are interviewed). Keep in mind that they are *PROBABLY* trying to port what they have for the 360 directly to the ps3, which is going to be their first problem if they don't know how to develop for ps3. They have absolutely no excuse when other companies are making gorge...
I second that. It better be quality hardware though, and free access to the net. No sub fees on my portable plz! Dual nubs too!
I would like to see what would happen if every time a pc gamer's pc crashed during game they quickly ran onto their glorified blog and declared war on all pc hardware.
Holy shyt, look at all the people arguing about this nonsense..
YLOD is not a myth, it IS real. The RROD is also not a myth. I hope that comes as news to all you here.
@The I Robot Retard
I also hear MS has a massive pile of 360's out in the desert next to that pit of E.T. cartridges. I hear they keep it off limits to the public because they use them for refurbs. They are highly valuable pieces of hardware you know. When you get your refurb 360 back from...
It's like putting a triangle into a circle.
*dies* I laugh my ass off everytime I see those things. They're hideous, and probably carry a good 10 more poly's than the mii's.
1 vs 100 sounds pretty friggin awesome though... I can see this being much better with something like a home avatar though, not a mii.
Can't wait to see how it all plays out at E3, 1 vs 100 is the only thing I'm really interested in from the MS camp. There's a lot they can do with LIVE, and this seems to be another great addition.
FFVI was the big one.
Unless they change that horrid combat, it's going right next to X-2 on my shelf.
I would gladly trade D3 for more D2 updates.
The glorified bloggers are crying wolf again....
At this point I refuse to believe it until I walk into the stores and the prices are already slashed.
As soon as I heard the SOTC battle music I was practically clapping.
That last statement-- so terribly true.
Add one more butt-hurt "journalist" to the pile.
They gave it a 5. I think that's a good indication that they did not. Maybe they did though, and couldn't figure out the timing of those posts that fly by, and wondered why their heads flew off when they camped on top of the train.
That train stage is probably one of (if not) the prettiest levels I've ever seen in a videogame too.
