I wanted to object, then I realized I haven't turned mine on in a while, shame.
I haven't played the game in a while, but I remember it looking about this good. Am I just remembering it wrong?
awards always do this. it looks dumb but otherwise the same game would get every award. for example, if a multiplat wins game of the year, logically it should also be ps3 and 360 game of the year, but in those categories they tend to favor the exclusives.
I didn't watch it, but have seen quite a few complaints about it on twitter, about it being a bit MTV-like. How was it?
It doesn't cheapen it, don't worry.
if you're a PC gamer, eventually... but, still they've gotten better
yeah, it's really a great game. I still don't get how the quality could be so disparate though. On one hand there was the great acting and writing in the villains, and then there's jason brody... And a LOT of story non-sense... And there's a great gameplay, and some of the best linear FPS missions in a while, despite being an open world game. and then there's the final "boss"... I wonder what happened there.
meh, I actually think 2K is way better.
borderlands 2, XCOM and bioshock: infinite and GTA 5 all crammed in a one year time period is pretty impressive. On top of that they have way less DLC and slap-on software(Uplay, Origin,...) bullish*t than the other publishers.
yep 2K is better, and I thought AC3 was terrible.
that was a great choice on their part. I wasn't going to get because I despise Farcry 2. but with the price drop and my friends telling me it's great I went out and got it.
so reason 1,2 and 3 are the same reason?
also GTA is on the list.
huh?! why would you buy a console just to sell it a month ot so later?
and the animations were quite poor to.
yeah, definitely not uncharted / assassin's creed level of animation.
it's always weird to talk games with these people.
This guy in my class was telling me how he thought that when farcry 3 "prompted you to press buttons on-screen" it was great. I guess it was his first QTE experience ever, and thought it was awesome, lol.
Consoles also had the "pc is dead" phase, I guess it evens out. Both are annoying though.
I've always seen david cage as an arrogant prick. I doubt we'll see one of his games not written by him.
you're aloud to not like LA Noire :)
the writing, story telling and voice acting were way better in the TWD than in heavy rain.
that said heavy rain did great things, I think that the "no fail-state" system is one of the best features in any game this gen and hope more games would have it.
edit: also in a few parts of the game you could find more clues if you looked around more, that is GREAT! but I can only think of one instane where it was well implemented.
I also think TWD ...
does anyone have an alternate source?
I've still been "downloading" all the games I own, just to own the digital copy. If the PS4 includes any king of BC, it might help owning the digital copy.
