wow this is the best update ever fpr me, these were all games I was planning on buying, the only one I own is ME3
I don't know... I don't have total confidence in Ubisoft for making great games on the first try. I'm sure watch dogs 2 will be great, but the first might just have something very annoying that breaks the game for me.

because it created expectation... you see an awesome trailer you get exited and you learn that it's CG... kinda hurts. And how do you think core gamers weren't hurt by this? they are still complaining TO THIS DAY.

there wasn't really much to forget anyway, a title, a logo and the developer, that's about it.
maybe the 10$ voucher motived some purchases on the store. I don't think it has much to do with a store update or anything.
yes, it's a fantastic game, I really hope they make another one. It's one of those games that when you think of a sequel you instantly have dozens of ideas of what can be done.
it's just that the MS lies didn't hurt core gamers like the sony ones. We really didn't care that much about milo or star wars kinect from the beginning. for example, if Sony lied about wonder book, there wouldn't be as much backlash as for the killzone 2 trailer.
I dunno, it's hard to say if the CGI looked better or not. I just think that no FPS ever will look as realistic as the CGI just because of the animation of the camera, which really made it immersive, but you can't put that in a game as it would make it unplayable.
other than that, in terms of pure video fidelity, I don't know which is better, I'm not much of a graphics whore. I do think, though, that KZ2 and 3 did end up looking prettier, but I think it's...
I think the industry has advanced quit a bit since then, and it isn't possible to pull that off anymore.
I mean, just look at the fallout from the warZ or more recently alien: CM.

because you didn't like halo 4, crysis 3 is a great game? yep, I don't get it.
the biggest problem is that it becomes really hard to differentiate a great game from a good game in reviews, these days. when you see a clearly superior game get only 1 point more than a average/good game, it's quite disgusting.

5 hours for vanquish on your first play through? O_O I think I'm somewhere close to 7 and keep ragequiting everytime I try finishing it. I don't remember on what difficulty I'm playing though.
I guess it's kind of the games fault if you suck at it, it's like telling people QWOP is great, when you don't suck at it...
it's a legitimate complaint if you think you sucking is the games fault.
still, from what I played the game looks to be good, it reminds me of vanquish, so I can only like it.

I realized FC3 was running a a lower framerate when I first launched it, then I just forgot about it and had fun. I don't think I'm able to notice screen tearing either.
and looking at this video I really don't see a difference between low and very high. I like pretty games, but I really couldn't care less about how realistic the light is.
if it wasn't EA they would have got over it way earlier than that.
And all these people seem to forget that everyone hated steam when it first came out.
