Money as always Scissor. Hope alls well buddy.
Is such a mouthpiece for the industry big wigs. I don't think any one should pay this dude any mind. He gets paid to drive certain agendas for certain third parties..I believe EA is top on that list of priorities.
Rocksteady could do wonders for a Spiderman and/or Superman game. Finally give the Man of Steel a proper outing.
30 Million units to go.
Aware that Wii games sales dwarf either 7th gen competitor, right?
Cute. Though I agree with that sentiment. It seems gaming consoles are treating the ability to play games is a secondary function on them..I'm not a social media enthusiast, so I can careless about facebook or twitter and whatever else involves giving up privacy. I buy game consoles to play games.
Going by what we are seeing, it looks like every console maker is adopting this idea for a jack of all trades machine..I'd prefer they keep it simple. Can't stand all th...
Is this what the market really wants?
If Nintendo put in half the resources into the 2D Mario Series that they did the 3D Mario series we'd get something special.
You'd think the market reactions were reversed the way Nintendo has treated this series. 2D Mario games used to be given the royal treatment, now they are given recycled music and recycled content..it's embarrassing..I'd be embarrassed to release something to the world with such a half assed effort.
2D Mario is the serie...
Focused on what?
Actually play the game? I can see how it may be viewed that way, but honestly it was a quality game. I appreciated it because it WASN'T trying to be a remake of a classic N64 game, but a totally new and fresh take on it.
Them get up on stage and announce a game like riiiiiiidddgeee racccerrrrr...'cricket' ;
They did a good job with Goldeneye on the Wii.
But the thing is, dev companies, from EA to Activision felt that Goldeneye on the N64 sold because of the Bond license; It didn't it sold because it was a great game, that happened to have the Bond license..Big difference.
Many devs fall into this trap. The license is always secondary, dependent upon the quality of the game.
I'm sure the UK has internet access M$.
It was to be called Omni? Which doesn't sound bad at all actually.
But what happened after the 4 years?
Glad you had luck, but many folks I know had to buy multiple 360's and PS3's due to RRoD and YLoD. And you are hearing stories of Wii U's bricking.
As time goes on, the kinks are worked out and these stories become non existent.
Which is why I don't think I'll buy a console at launch.
This is a waste of time. I loved DKCR on Wii, rather a sequel than a port with 'omg 3d'
About 2 months ago, wrote that this coming gen, we would lose a console maker.
I agree with him; And now Wynands is singing a similar tune. At the end of the day, the only thing that we can look at is finances. Who is in the most financial trouble out of the big 3?
It certainly isn't Microsoft, and regardless of how Nintendo treats the Wii U, it will most probably become profitable for them. Take into account Nintendo has a higher market cap than Sony and...
Its wise to buy anything on launch day..unless its software. Console makers usually have hardware kinks, bugs and other things that need to be tweaked. I'm never in a hurry to spend money lol.
But there are fans who are excited to buy a new product, whether an Apple product, new console etc. More power to them.
Wow.
Sums up my feelings on the games industry at the moment.
I think you nailed it on the head as to why I was never a fan of Sony's gaming contributions. They seem more interested in cinematic experiences rather than gaming experiences.
If people wonder why PC gaming seems to be 'coming back' look no further than this past gens Jr. PC line ie PS3/360. Many gamers are realizing that the 'consoles' from Sony and M$ are just Jr. PC's, why w...
