It means stick to PC gaming instead.

Why you are applauding the PS4 either though. Pretty Much everything confirmed about the One will be applicable to the PS4. Minus perhaps required PS Eye operation and voice command. But who knows, Sony might pull a 'me too' at E3.

As it stands, neither has backwards compatibility, Used games will require a fee, I also have an inclination that Sony will start to charge for Online like LIVE does. We still do't know the cost of the next systems etc.

Also ask Sony the Same thing, from PS2-PS3. 360 also was NOT top dog this gen.

That aside, I don't know why many are touting One as something good..The bad news just keeps on coming.

It requires Kinect to operate. It requires a fee if you chose to play a used game. This thing looks like a new 3DO..with the ability to stream football.

They bring back Snake. He was fun to play with and against.

That is an ugly picture painted.

Nintendo is not entirely dependent on them.

Time to show and prove...I mean, the idea of a Games Console that plays games does seem like a foreign concept nowadays.

With Libro, I think this is a smart move by Nintendo.

NeoGeo. Games is the only thing that will save Wii U (or any console really).

What I will add though, is that Nintendo needs an account system NOT tied to Hardware. That is paramount, especially if Nintendo is selling games digitally, they should not go bye bye should the console brick. And prior customers shouldn't be burned and have to repurchase games every time a new console is released. Imagine Apple doing some shit like that with iTunes customers. Its unacceptable i...

Not Next Gen..anymore. It is current gen, as Wii/PS3/360 are last gen. And PS4/Infinity will be current gen once released.

That's actually pretty funny. And pretty spot on. Iwata needs to stop apologizing and start producing.

I stand corrected and am in complete agreeance with you.

Weren't you saying Nintendo's decision to not have an E3 Presser to be bad (even though they would still have a software pressence at E3) Now Take-Two is saying they won't be showing their biggest game at E3, which is sooo important for media attention, is a good decision?

From a guy with Vita in his name. Talk about ironic.

Wii was Doomed every year..Even the years it was breaking records. Hell there was even an April fools article on Gamespot regarding Wii.

Do you really think that there are tons of gamers out there waiting on Pikmin 3 before purchasing a Wii U?

Wii U is struggling because of many reasons, but the biggest reason is the lack of system moving software. And I hate to break it to you, but that software is not Pikmin 3 or WW Zelda, ror any other failed Gamecube game of yesteryears. NSMBU could have been that game but Nintendo half assed it. (Even still it is the best NSMB game ever, to bad its also the laziest game ...

Pachter is only relevant when he discusses Nintendo business. Because once he starts yapping about Sony, his credentials are no longer relevant. : )

Btw, the dude is a total corporate mouthpiece. Why ANYTHING he says is posted every and anywhere is a mystery to me.

On gaming forums? Sure. Mainstream? Not so sure.

I'm in agreement with Kotick. The writing is on the Wall. This coming gen is going to be the last for many game devs and console makers will not have it rosy either.

There are just too many factors going against them this time. The economy is still shitty, dev costs continue to rise, and the prices of these machines may fall between $4-500. Game prices might rise to $70. I mean where does that leave the av...

Does your comment even mean? How am I a fanboy because I am using factual numbers of Sony's handheld and comparing it to another failed handheld?

I've been very critical of Nintendo and Wii U as well. Hell Nintendo fans have been equally mad at me for my comments lol.

If anything I'm an equal opportunity kind of guy. To have Sony's expectations for the Vita be so low can only mean that this thing is floundering in the market. Pointing that out...

Yeah, your one of those 'hardcore' gamers I suppose. Because GameBoy became a staple which created the handheld market and every handheld since including the Vita is here as a result of the GameBoy. Game Gear, like Atari Lynxx, was beating the crap out of gameboy technically but the software and hardware sales of gameboy were just incredible.

Glad you enjoyed the 2 or 3 Game Gear games more than the GameBoy games. You are truly a great example of why N4G is out of tou...
