Also, remember when it was announced that the game was a rail shooter and HD fans laughed, now they want the game ported to their system? How would that work? Look at how time crisis flopped on PS3, if EA is smart they should save their resources for a more fruitful endeavor.

Many folks didn't have a Gamecube apparently, and never saw Rogue Squadrons 2 or 3 running at 60fps? "Wii HD" (Patcher is in trouble) Is going to cost 499$ when its released than I say no thanks.
And the author is right; Not having HD hasn't hindered the Wii from whoopin both HD twins on the sales charts. Quality and all that is 100% subjective.
Nintendo didn't rely on the gimmick of eye candy..they relied on the 'gimmick' of innovation.

Bionic Commando belly flopped, I guess that means those type of games don't sell on HD systems? And since when was Conduit AAA? or Madworld or Overkill?
Bottomline is, if the big franchises were on Wii they'd sell, cheap cash in, low effort ports don't. Same could be said for the HD consoles, if its not a big budget title, it belly flops on the market. Same goes for Wii, PS2, SNES, flops on Wii don't matter anymore than flops on other systems..except companies that flop on Wii...
