What the hell is this dude talking about? Tha's the dumbest line I've read today. Tiger is Casual all of a sudden because it proves a Third Prty game from an established series does very well on Wii? So now lets just deam it "casual".
And lets be honest the way forum dwellers use the word casual is really just code for "retarded" the game was a good game on PS2 back in 05, but now not so much? Motion Plus has really given that franchise new life.

Seeing as Prime 3 is probably my favorite single player game this gen, its hard for me to admit, but Conduit actually bests Prime in the controls department. I've heard even Red Steel 2 is adding a feature similar to Conduits customizable controls, it is that liberating.
In all honesty, I was going to sit this gen out because the focus was pretty much, the same games with a fresh coat of paint. (There are exceptions) But I didn't even get into the Wii until nearly a year after ...
FC's can be a bit of an annoyance, but there is a reason that was implemented as well. Some of the larger companies like EA, for example can bypass FC's because they have their own servers and whatnot. HVS doesn't have that luxury, but what can you do?
I don't think Conduit is AAA calibur..whatever AAA is but it does get a lot of things right, and alot of things not so right. But considering it is a new IP from a somewhat young development team, they've really done quite well. ...
But that is besides the point. I agree that level design was lacking but you can't just marginalize the control freedom and precedent they've acheived with The Conduit. Also Multiplayer is awesome, and worthy of purchase on that merit alone. The singleplayer is not as weak as people claime, and it is really just practice for the online battles to come.
I feel HVS went conservative with The Conduit though, and I am looking forward to how far they push their engine and themselves...

Even care about motion control? I mean I see the marketing hype already for both Natal and the Wand, but the thing I don't see are games or even sincere developer interest. What are you talking about? There is no defending necessary here. Most people who played the game love it, which is in stark contrast to the majority of "reviews" out there. No way is this game a 5/10, there just seems to be a huge bias against this game simply because its on the Wii.

I agree, Galaxy had areas that were just stunning, that Volcano level was very easy on the eyes. Technically Galaxy blows Prime 3 out of the water but artistically Prime 3 blows it out of the water. I'd be curious to see what Retro could do on an engine like quantom 3.
Game devs and what not didn't understand was that it was never about the Bond lisence that made the game great, that was just the icing on the cake. It was the game, the content, the gameplay, the graphics, the total package really. I mean how many nights were spent on that multiplayer? Classic game.
In my opinion Metroid Prime 3 is probably the best looking game on Wii and artistically wipes the floor with games on other platforms as well, locked at 60fps. I mean the game is just gorgeous. The tech powering the Conduit is excellent, but I feel HVS were conservative this time, games like Grinder will hold up much better I think. But I had to chuckle, its definitely the player and not the game if you can't get the controls, I mean they allow you to tweak and change ANYTHING.

Hasn't been the reason for Wii selling in the stratosphere why would that change anytime soon? Especially with financial situations worsening? Wii HD is a patcher phrased thing, Who knows if Nintendo will even stick with the whole Wii thing? No one knows what to expect from Nintendo and those that pretend they do just end up looking like fools.
