Eh, I thought the original was broken. Terrible framerate, lots of glitches. Super excited to play this game redone and hopefully without those issues. No clue why the author wants those things to remain an issue.

Also, don't in any way think the game was "unfinished" on PS2.

Yea, god of war has never had open worlds, it wouldn't even make sejse for them to make it that now. Glad they didn't go that route.

Funny part is, everyone on this site said a couple youtube videos was the representation of all interest and showed "who won." When I pointed out how the argument was not only petty, but flawed, they all gawked, now online metrics show MS had more influence, I can'twait to see the opinions flip flop.

Not only is it petty to argue that youtube views somehow measure quality, it is also completely infactual to pretend Sony was overepresented, especially on the individual video views. 7/10 of the games on the list are multiplat.

IMO, Sony had a much better conference but using youtube views as a measure of that is idiotic.

It definitely happens the one x is unquestionably stronger and destiny two will be exactly the same on both. I find it funn that when PS4 was being "held back" earlier this gen, everyone here was pissing and moaning, now suddenly everyone is perfectly fine with it and it is a no brainer to hold back on the One X. Totally obvious.

What? I thought this year was absolutely amazing. Way more excited for all of this than for a FFVII remake and shemnue 3 in 5 years.

Shadow of the collossus is the only japan studio game I never got into (despite it being a VERY good game) because the game was on PS2, but the mechanics and world were to massive to run well on that hardware. I think the PS4 version is going to really showcase what the original vision was perfectly.

Man, that reveal alone blew away every other conference combined IMO, but man, if all those 2018 games stay in 2018, I can say definitively, 2018 will be the best year of gaming I can remember, and all the best games WILL be on PS4. It is geniunely concerning how much better Sony's lineup has become than MS at this point.

i actually hate the god of war series, always been a button mashing, graphics showcase. However, I can say without question, this new game looks absolutely amazing.

I wasn't impressed, personally, a lot of decent looking games, but absolutely nothing that got me excited.

This site's userbase is very frequently extremely Sony biased, but in this case, I agree 100% with their criticisms

For me personally, I buy everything when it comes out, so I will probably buy even if $599.99, BUT IMO for it to have any chance at success, it needs tk be $450 max, I think even $499.99 is too much. Especially if Sony drops the PS4 Pro price in response.

Yea, While I will be buying Scorpio and play almost every 3rd party game on it, it is not going to be any different/superior than if I played on my high-end PC. That said, if the context is simply home consoles, he is definitely correct, I would say.

@qdog Definitely agree that foxtrot is clearly making baseless claims, the game is actually quite diverse and the gameplay itself does quite a bit uniqeuly. (Though I don't think a game has to be groundbreaking to be a 10/10)

I myself think the reviews were maybe a bit too kind, but I certainly would not be surprised to hear so many thinkijg it is a 10/10 either, and definitely don't see the flaws foxtrot is proclaiming

It is fine, but they added pay to play with the gear in the game, that completely unbalance the game SEVERELY.
