Both consoles are underpowered for what they're supposed to do. With so many games having problems hitting the golden 1080p @ 60 fps is main reason this gen will be short. Once the NX is released, Microsoft and Sony will follow suit within the next two years.
Ordered one right after the Nintendo direct. Along with the mega Man anniversary collection and the fire emblem fates special edition. My wallet hurts.

All it needs is the gamepad, Nintendo games & the Halo series. Then it would be the ultimate system. Exclusive sucks but at the same time it's nice having all three systems.

You are the one who has a problem with the story, not me. Yes, the story could have been deeper, but Master Chief has built himself up over this epic series. Halo has a universe that's deeper than just the game. With the books & movies. It's almost like Star Wars.

They know that most of the hate is coming from gamers that don't have an X1 and never plan on purchasing one. All my multiplats are on my PS4, but my X1 has the best FPS. (imo)
Master Chief is relevant to me. As I purchased my second X1 Halo 5 bundle along with the Master chief controller. There hasn't been a PS4 bundle that made me want double drip on that console.
Gameplay is more important than the story for FPS games.
No console is desperate. The market is huge. The only thing that is really desperate in gaming is fanboys. Now I'm going back to playing Halo 5, Splatoon, Uncharted collection.

I believe FF7 will be a launch title for NX.
That's part of business. Besides Final Fantasy originated on Nintendo. I know that cloud wasn't on Nintendo, but with this announcement I believe that the remastered Final Fantasy VII could be a launch title for NX.
This announcement was great. The only thing missing was Zelda U. Is Nintendo trying to push the next big Zelda game to the NX? With releasing upgraded versions of Zelda games. I have a feeling that the 2016 holiday season will see the release of an upgraded skyward sword for the Wii U. Could the Wii U be the first Nintendo console without an original Zelda game?
Halo 5 was the only reason I needed to purchased the X1. Now, I have new Tomb Raider game as well.
As for saving my money, it's not the PSVR, but the NX. Can't wait to see what the Big N has for it's next gen consoles.
In the end every TV should have a Sony, MS, & Nintendo console hooked up to it.
Yes, I thought that the Wii U was going to get F-zero due to 200cc added to MK8. A NX launch title makes more sense. Can't wait to see what Nintendo has been holding back for the NX launch.
Its not the Nintendo fans that feel that way. Its the FPS fans that want NX to come with normal controller and no gimmick.
IMO as a Nintendo fan. All I want out the NX is a hybrid handheld/console that can play all Nintendo games from every single system. A real account system that allows crossplay. The Wii U is great system and wroth the purchase. IMO
Nintendo didn't advertise the Wii U as being super powerful. So, I knew when PS4 & X1 would release a year later that they would a lot more powerful then the Wii U. Now that the PS4 & X1 have been out for almost 2 years and games still have problems reaching 1080p@60fps, I feel they are under powered for what they are supposed to do. It is what it is. IMO both PS4 and X1 are under powered for what they are supposed to handle. Why can't both consoles handle all games at 1080p @ 60fps? That's what I though these console would do. This is why I feel both consoles were rushed to market, because of the early launch of the Wii U. Now Nintendo has an opportunity with the NX to have the only console that could potentially play all games at 1080p@60fps. Hopefully the PS5 & X2 can handle 4K at launch.

We might even see it in 2016. I would love to see the NX luanch during E3 2016. Nintendo would go from having no press conference to launching a new console at E3.
