NX already has a number of third party companies working on NX games already. The Wii U is a great console for Nintendo fans, but the NX will be Nintendo's love letter to third party publishers. NX will have the power third party developers want to make development less time consuming.

Yes, imo PS4 & X1 are under powered for today's multiplat games. The Wii U, yes is very under powered for third party games. This is the biggest reason third party stopped supporting the Wii U, but that didn't stop Nintendo from supporting it. I'm happy with my Wii U and it's library of games. Also, happy with my X1 and it's exclusives. The same goes for my PS4 plus the multiplats. So, I'm fan of all consoles and always have been. <...
What Nintendo needs out of the NX to attract third party again is power. The PS4 and X1 are underpowered for this generation. Making it hard and time consuming to hit 1080p@60fps if even possible. If the NX has enough power to hit 1080p@60fps with less effort and no sacrifices. The third party companies will come. This could open the door for the NX to have the best version of multiplat games. Best multiplat game version plus Nintendo eclusives is guaranteed success.
Splatoon, Mario Maker & Xenoblade X was enough for me. Three games in my top ten for 2015. On top of that Cloud was released in Smash. How is that a disappointment?

My day one Xbox one has no problems, my Halo 5 Xbox one will freeze and makes a loud noise. It's only happen a couple of times and only on SP games.
This game will get a reprint run in the future. Nintendo aslo said that not all amiibo would get reprints after launch, but Nintendo has been releasing all the rare amiibos the last few months.
That's because Sony doesn't have a good history of supporting peripherals. Hopefully they do support and market VR a lot better then PS TV. VR will be a gimmick on the PS4 because the system won't handle photo realistic graphics for VR. What core gamers would wanted to play VR games that don't look photo realistic?

Imo, Nintendo has thrown a lot of time and research into Zelda Wii U. There is the possibility that Nintendo is working on two Zelda games at this moment. One for Wii U and the other for NX. Nintendo was talking about how the Dungeons were going to be way larger than past games. If the Wii U couldn't reach their full vision, then they could be pushing it to NX and started a new Zelda for the Wii U. That would be a good reason for a delay with no release date. Even if the Wii U had all of Sony's and MS exclusives along with all thrid party games it still wouldn't sell. The big reason is the NX is on the horizon.
