This is Sony. The game won't be PS Vita exclusive for long, and when the PS4 port flops like Toukiden Kiwami's and God Eater 2's, they'll kill the series.
Not that Phil Spencer would have anything to do with it, but a Vita version of SMB would also be "great."

They did this as a way to promote the retail release of Minecraft on PS Vita in Japan, which is published by Sony. It wasn't hosted by Microsoft, but rather Sony's Minecraft Club PR team. The game has been really successful on their machines in Japan, especially on Vita.
If true, I find it interesting that both of Vita's Assassin's Creed games star not only women, but non-white women.
Toukiden will be fine. Kiwami is only an expansion pack, and it came out in Asia last summer on Vita and PSP. It sold well on Vita. Bloodborne may kill any chance of Toukiden 2 being on PS4, but oh well. The series will continue on Vita and presumably 4DS since Sony isn't going to make another handheld.

You're right, Sony should spend the $3 they're currently using on Vita to make more PS4 games. If they didn't use that $3 on Vita, I'm sure Uncharted 4 would come out sooner!
Maybe if you've never played Gravity Rush. The game is way too fast for VR; you'd get sick.
