This game is aimed at the Japanese market. At this point you're going to sell more copies on Vita than PS3.
A side scrolling RPG is a very unique concept.
This game will sell best on Vita, so I don't know why you'd be surprised to see that.
With the way Minecraft has been selling on the system, this will likely do great things for Vita in Japan.
VLR is better on Vita. There's a nasty save glitch only on 3DS and you'll have to contend with those low res screens.
I wouldn't equate a remake with a remaster. One is a much more extensive job that requires essentially making the game from scratch. The other is slapping some lipstick on an already existing game.
Why was Vita tagged?
Of course Vita has a lot to offer. It's where Sony will get PS4's fall lineup from; Tearaway Unfolded, Gravity Rush Remastered, etc.
How gracious of Square Enix to give Vita the lesser version of a Pokemon clone. Vita owners should be kissing their feet at such a sign of support.
I liked how that Vita section goes by so fast you can't even mentally register what you saw other than Persona 4 DAN.
By liked I mean hated.
@Teflon02 Both PSP games that people wanted to see more of on Vita and never will.
Typo for Assassination Classroom.
Got to love how Sony has completely buried their best selling platform in Japan.
Gran Turismo Vita? LOL
Gravity Rush 2? PS4 exclusive
Soul Sacrifice 2? Cancelled
Freedom Wars 2? Cancelled
Wild ARMS? If revived, probably PS4 exclusive
Patapon? Dead
LocoRoco? Dead
Hot Shots? PS4 exclusive
Parappa? If revived, probably PS4 exclusive
Ape Escape? If revived, probably PS4 exclusive
From Software Dark Fa...
Dissidia and Type-0 say otherwise.
Sony can't even get PS4 owners to drop <$200 on an independent handheld that allows them to play all of their PS4 games on the go. I don't know how they expect to sell a multi-hundred dollar headset to the same audience.
An equal divide? There's never been an equal divide in Sony press conferences. PS3 and Vita likely won't be mentioned at all, unless used as a lead-in like "PS3 and PS Vita favourites are coming to PS4 this holiday season [because our original lineup for PS4 is a wreck]."
Vita launched at a great price but none of that matters if the software that moves hardware isn't there. Sony ditched Vita and told its owners to fuck off.
It's almost as if just a tiny fraction of the people interested in E3 get a chance at seeing the show floor.
For Vita owners, E3 is nothing other than fear.
I think it's hilarious that Sony would rather spend money marketing a game that's part of a series that has never sold more than 50k than literally any game on Vita.
